  25. MARS, Insight, ADS, Juice falls on the same category of cosmetic line. Chinese made. Recently some of them are procured by Indians IG. Swiss beauty and Mars are some. I remember Mars getting sold on footpath. I remember those vendors with lots of cosmetic and first copies of MAC, Huda, Jacklyn Hill, Kylie, KKW and all, selling primer make up fixers, Matt nail paints. Then Nidhi started selling those Chinese make ups on her website cuffs and lashes.

    And now Mars rebranded and made them look legit and all. In short, all these are Chinese brands.. some of them are just making taam jhaam, their own website, sending PRs, so that people buy from them.

    Pre covid.. infact much earlier like during 2015-16.. there use to have so much reports on how these Chinese brands doesn't pass security check, health check.. eyeshadows contains asbestos.. lipsticks contains harmful chemicals and more… I still have some first copy items and ADS, MARS, Insight are some I used to buy a lot. Cheap make ups. I still have them. It been 7 years the lipsticks are still intact. Weird. It didn't dry. I don't use them though.

    Remember when those Matte Me Lipsticks that became so hugely popular ? Infact it was the gateway to the world of liquid matte lipsticks. These ADS, MARS, Insight made it cheaper dupes and we use to buy it. The original brand was called 'Sleek Matte Me'.
