I thought he was finding shells untill i got closser

Are used to catch them at the beach they’re always in the wet sand and they are called Sand crabs

Dude, I went to the beach and found like 6-8 of these little guys in the sand, one of them was a baby and I thought they were pretty cute. Always thought they were dangerous, they don't really harm you in any way, if you put some sand in your hand with a sand piggy near, it will instantly crawl into that sand for cover, which I find really cute.

We call those sandfleas. We find em all over the beach. They're pretty cute ngl.
I know those live under already I’ve been picking them up since when I was 5 my dad showed me it and said they are baby crabs

I saw one of these at Ocean Isle Beach in NC. I scooped up some sand and felt something moving. One of these was inside the sand and wriggled out of my hand and disappeared before I could get a good look at it.
