The SEC’s decision to poach Texas and Oklahoma from the Big 12 was driven by several strategic, financial, and competitive factors. Here’s an in-depth look at the reasons behind this move:
With a 12 team playoff a 4 loss Ohio state or 4 loss Michigan will not be left out. That's the beauty of the setup, it opens up all sorts of manipulation and monkey business to throw games and maximize the number of playoff spots for P2 branding. No B12 or others will see the playoffs unless they've won every single game, and even then, their schedule and starting roster will be so scrutinzed it will be a 50/50 proposition as to whether they beat out a heavily branded P2 team for that final spot….Consolidation isn't some future tense thing, it's already happened, and from here on out, any P2 school would be crazy to vote for adding any program that wasn't a proven football doormat.
Obviously he doesn't have a clue about the Big 12 rivalries but then hey he just got here. And all the four corners teams are going to become national Powers when? I'll hang up and listen
Why all the discussion about the academic reps of certain schools, is that really what the super 2 value? Other than Vandy, what SEC school is really valued for their academics? It's their value as FB schools that pays the big SEC payouts. FSU & Clemson are valued for the FB numbers – not whatever academic rep they have.
What a zoob. Can't make a case for Utah to the B1G. Just can't make himself do it. Top 30 TV market, AAU, Flagship school, medical and dental school, etc., etc., etc. Guy bleeds blue.
Iowa State made $115M last year, and they have a 61.5k seat stadium with a great traveling fanbase that also sells out Hilton Coliseum they will get a look. KU and ISU were looking into the Big Ten a few years ago when Dave Wanstead talked about it with his source. If the SEC wants to raid the Big12 and they can add 2 new states in Kansas and Iowa with the Jayhawks and Cyclones.. Iowa State is a land and space grant university also R1 research school with a $1.4B endowment. They left the AAU a few years ago but still have top ten nationally ranked aerospace, engineering and veterinary medicine programs.
Oklahoma State will go to the SEC before any Big 12 team, Texas Tech no, Baylor 🗑️, TCU religious, Houston to small so is UCF West Virginia please stop other than that the SEC aint taking no teams not in the south or atleast southern period #facts

Not a cfb score: future-Big12 AzSt baseball, in a 2-game series sweep, outscored TexTech 38-16.
I don’t thin the SEC has any desire to add another team from Texas. But there is already smoke around Kansas
🤭 The Big-10 Would Try to Steal SEC Teams Long Before Taking Any Big-12 Team!

Never have this idiot on again, full blown Mormon homer talking about made up numbers making his weird racist university look “better” lol
Nice, took an indirect shot at Utah didn’t he. But let’s not mention any names. Times don’t change .

Ute fans can't stop crying that he didn't mention their school lol. We all know they have a chance. Take a chill pill fellas.

Im gonna be elated when you.. specifically YOU wont be able to do this anymore. YOU make me not like the big12.
That would mean anti trust suits
I can think of no new-Big XII school that the SEC would be interested in adding.
