  1. Thanks for all your work. The reaction channel craze has faded quite a bit but yours is one that should be able to keep in for a while because of the quality you're putting up. Probably my most viewed channel all year. I hope you can keep it up!

  2. DAMN, Syed: That was fantastic! Wonderful picks. And it’s not because I love all your choices. I don’t. But gawd….your learning curve has been phenomenal. You can expound on rock and metal, after less than a year, as if you were offering a college level course on rock music appreciation; in depth analysis of lyrics, knowledge of and appreciation of the artists of each band and how their instruments contribute to the whole. And last but definitely not least; your ability to hone in on, and be able to clearly express and share the emotional impact a song has on you.
    Congratulations and thank you!

  3. Loving the journey mate, although I started with new wave/ska and moved on to most indie music I’ve heard and lived a lot of your reviewed tracks, I seem to be on a reverse path, finding and appreciating Ghetts, Wretch 32, Avelino, Lowkey, Akala, Kano Dave, Meekz, the brilliant lyricism!!

  4. You should check out "The Chain" cover by Tantric. Doesn't have a to be a reaction but they honor the original while giving it the heavier, in your face feel I prefer. Cheers!

  5. I bough Eagles-hotel California, Fleetwood Mac- rumours and Bob Dylan- street legal cds with money I got for my 19th birthday in 1991. All these albums are from 1977&1978. A special time in music that changed my life and got me away from a decade of metal. Gave me a lot more to choose from. Today I prefer Dylan, back then Hotel California cause all the songs on the album are 9/10. Street legal with is you’re love in vain and the epic changing of the guards are the two standout tracks on an underrated min careerDylan album. Rumours has five 10/10 songs. The others not of that level, but overall a fantastic album I have enjoyed hundreds of times. Great reactions from you in 2022. Happy new year.

  6. i found your channel a whole back and loved it so much. Thanks for that. I have not heard you react to Rush yet. If you want to see a great drummer than check Neal Peart. his set up and his playing is insane. Anything from them would be great. Few hints Tom Sawyer/ limelight/ Red Barchetta, all good stuff. Also i little insight Neal wrote all the words for there songs, RIP

  7. Great choice of music, it’s good to see people with open minds. You open doors to people with your humility and step by step breakdowns and reactions.

  8. Great choices Syed…I think your #1 is a great choice and my 2nd favorite reaction you have done… my favorite was your reaction to PF, Pulse Comfortably Numb…
Happy New Year to you āœØļø
    Looking forward to more…
Joe Walsh "The Confessor" (longer version) is one I think you would enjoy musically and lyrically…

  9. Nice job Syed, you do reactions with real substance and try to give an intelligent interpretation of how you perceive the music, the lyrics and vocals and I often agree with what you have to say. Thanks for taking the leap to finding out what Rock is all about, it is a fascinating journey with no real ending, as new, contemporary bands like Halestorm, Lilliac, Dorothy and Plush forge on with their own takes on hard rock and metal going into the 21st century, Rock will live on long after I'm gone, that I now know. Good luck with a great era of music, 67 years and counting, you will be listening and reacting to it as long as you want, there are endless tunes. Enjoy! šŸŽµšŸŽøšŸŽ¤šŸŽ¹šŸŽ·šŸŽ¶

  10. Great list, Syed. I'll admit that my favorites on your list are the Zeppelin songs. Lots of great bands out there, but none captured the magic of Led Zeppelin.

    Happy New Year! šŸ„‚

  11. Great stuff. I love your channel. Your song selection is on point, almost like u have a seasoned aficionado guiding you. Surprised ā€œCortez the Killerā€ didn’t make the list.

  12. I really enjoy watching your channel! Your song analysis is mostly spot on lyrically and musically. I would like you to give a listen to the band 'Boston'. Their 1976 debut self titled album is one of the best. Lead guitarist Tom Scholz is an M.I.T. engineer and recorded the album in his basement. He couldn't find the sounds he wanted so he designed his own guitar effect pedals and equipment. He did all the instrumentation except drums and then found the phenomenal Brad Delp to do vocals. Turned out to be one of the greatest debut albums ever. A good start would be the songs 'Foreplay/Longtime', always played together as one song. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

  13. dude in regards to the Chain. Christine mc Vie is ONE OF THE LEADS, she is NOT one of the other singers. She is EQUAL to Stevie and Lindsey and had MORE TOP TEN HITS. Stop disrespecting her. She had 8 of the 16 songs on the greatest hits. 8

  14. Exceptional. You are extraordinarily perceptive. You are sober and wide awake with your great ability to review music. You are one of my favorite people to listen with. Fun to go back in time to some great old music with your apt commentary. Thank you.

  15. Hey Syed, nice one on getting your channel going, been enjoying the reactions I've watched so far. Particularly appreciate that you enjoy the research to get more context and deepen appreciation. I hope you start to review albums – I'd love to watch you react to Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennae to Heaven by Godspeed You Black Emperor. It's not as mainstream as the music you've been exploring so far and therefore might not get so many views, but you seem really into what makes music work and I reckon you'd be fascinated by it. HNY mate

  16. no list of greatest rock music is complete without Led Zeppelin being at the top three spotsšŸ˜…

I love many other bands, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, the doors, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix etc etc. But Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix is just way too good.
