He said this while addressing the participants of the hearing of the US Helsinki Commission on ‘Holding Russia to Accountability for War Crimes Against Ukraine: Lessons from Nuremberg.’ The meeting took place in the historic place – auditorium No. 600, where the hearing on the prosecution of Nazi criminals was.

At the end of WWII all too many mistakes were made; too many miscarriages of justice, criminals allowed to escape.. only the highest-ranking among them were brought to trial most of the time, and many NAT_C fascists were simply allowed to go free, soaked in blood, and go back to living happy normally lives while the ashes and bones of their victims were buried and forgotten for decades. The USA and USSR both even hired many of them and offered them citizenship.. in Germany and Japan both, the USA brought some members of the fascist governments back into power; no truth and reconciliation or true reform and accountability ever took place. And now we see fascism and crimes against humanity resurgent in our world today; contempt for international law… the reaping of what was sewn by not finishing the job the first time. The world cannot make the same mistakes again. It must be shown that whether their part is great or small, NO ONE involved in such evils will go un-punished again!!

    First Ukraine must win its' battle, which means all of us owe it to you to do everything we can to oppose the fascist parties in our own countries that are working on Putin's behalf. We have asked the people of Ukraine to shoulder such a heavy burden and now the rest of us must do our part.

    But in a more serious matter, I truly hope Zelensky can find the strength to go on, and lead Ukrainians to freedom abd safety.

  28. The uneducated of society are prone to war like behaviour due to the education of their leaders using properganda to fan the flames of fear & hate. VP feared the common wealth of Ukrainians standards of living & contentment. How could VP & oligarchs continue to steal the wealth of RU if citizens understand it isn't outside forces that deprive them of a decent life?
