That also interesting when the rats appeard on the screen. The way they appeared when Rhaenyra and Laenor got married and drink from the blood is really a bad omen. Just think about it: If Viserys isn't that adamant to marry Rhaenyra to Laenor, then Joeffrey would be still alive, Rhaenyra shouldn't have to start a secret relationship with Harwin, have three bastard sons, what led to more confrontations between Alicent and Rhaenyra, also between the boys, what led to bloodshed, murder, war and slowly the fallen of the Targaryen House. 😨 The rats lived in the Palace, just like the secrets, the seeds of betrayal and the machinations, but the first time the rats tasted blood was the wedding. 🤯
The rats are a clear omen that nothing will go right in whatever scene they are in. They appear in the king and alicents sex scene which isn't good bc she hates it and then at rheanyras wedding also huge bad omen that things won't go right and it didnt.
2:51 Damn didn't know this was a propaganda channel😂 "Lucerys who was only 5" forgot about the part where the Strong basterds ganged up on Aemond while he had a wooden sword, when he fought back Lucerys cut out Aemonds Eye.
While I agree the rats drinking blood does represent blood and cheese… (as soon as you said it I was like DUH lol missed it) I dont see it as the point from which tipped the dance from political to outright war. Wasn’t it Aemond first killing Lucerys that provoked Deamon into hiring Blood and Cheese?
I can’t stand Rhaenyra and her storyline , literally a spoiled child who thinks everything is owed to her, The queen is my favorite character willing to do anything for her sons while speaking her mind 💯
The rat drinking the blood has to be a Blood and Cheese reference, right? Or maybe they’re a hint at the Grand Maester Conspiracy since they’re call the Grey Rats.
long story short the targaryens caused the demised of their house, if king veserys had let his brother marry his daughter ,their house would have been way much stronger .instead he let the high tower name enter the family kmt, that king was weak didnt have a backbone .why do powerful targaryens need a hand of king from someone who is from another house ? they let strangers on their ship and it sank .
Ehh the rats relating to blood and cheese is a stretch but I know how this video got there. We've seen the rats from episode 1 (?) I believe and they have shown up in every episode in one way or another. I think its just supposed to symbolize disease/pestilence since the King had the disease (Leprosy, said by showrunners) seen in episode 1 and its progressed. Rats could also symbolize deceit and trickery as some of the rats in the episode weren't shown in the light of disease/pestilence; like Rhaenyra sneaking out to spend the night with Daemon (Daemon essentially tricking Rhaenyra to be seen and sullied so he could marry her).
What starts the whole war is Alicent is so freaking insecure that she refused a political marriage that would have benefitted both sides because she has massive jealousy issues. She also can't see the bigger picture and is foolish that she couldn't realize she was nothing but a pawn put in place by her own father who sent her down this path. She had no rights at all to challenge for the throne because it was decided before she even married what the inheritance would be like and her coming in did nothing but cause a huge rift for the kingdom. She is one of the worst things to happen to the Targs because she alone is the reason they were almost wiped out all because she couldn't be mature about anything and it eventually carried over to her children.

Joffrey Longmouth or Bigmouth lol
They are going to have to hire rat catchers
Blood and Cheese
Random:Are you hype for Dragon Fight?
Me:No
Random:What are you excited about in House of the Dragon?
Me:🩸🧀
How is there wedding comparable to red wedding bruh
Idk, I didn't feel bad like I did after the red wedding. Not vested in that particular character like the Stark family.
"Yes-yes."
Starks got the last laugh they completely destroyed those families
I wouldn’t say that it was the actions of cheese and blood that started the beginning of the end of house Targaryen but rather the blood thrust Aemon.
Hey does anyone know if house stark is in the show?
Larys is a skin changer; he's the rat. He's also a greenseer and spying through the weirwood. Another cripple like Bran.
Those assassin's, the rat catchers.
BLOOD AND CHHEESE!!!!

I'm with Blacks all the way. So they can do as they wish.

I'm also thinking of B… And C…..
You know what I think of those rats? Blood & Cheese. Book readers know. 👀
Cheese & Blood they need a rat chaser
Covid 1313
daemons line is so famous I wonder if they will end with him saying that line in the show..
He has leprosy
Am I the only one who thought of blood and cheese?
Oh, I thought it was only a metaphor for the decay of house Targaryen.
Went from rats to a dragon spoiler. SMH.
Theo Von is coming
Why does he ask if he already knows which one he is going to kill? Just cruelty?
The Dothraki think a wedding without, at least, three deaths is a dull affair.

Rat and Cheese play a dark important part of this story
Correction …rhaenyra never had any child with Leonor. ..all the kids were with Sir harwin….. only the last kid aegon iii was with daemon …
Soooo… what does rats have to do with it all?

That’s not daemons grandson…

One of a few signs a plague is afoot. Or just foreshadowing for Blood and Cheese. Their (the rats') presence means filth, disease, and death.
I hope we cheese and blood in the series
The rats are Layrus Strong. He is a greenseer.
