I remember The Lost being very easy to kill. It must be annoying to have to fight them with starter weapons while they are equipped with Phase II Clonetrooper armor.
Sorry Daley, I won't be watching this series because your Xcom2 absence inspired me to buy the game and start my own campaigns! I'm having lots of fun on my 4th campaign, and my advice for early game increased difficulty campaigns (Commander and up) is to be very careful and proactive about positioning and flanking. Additionally, be selective about building Avenger rooms, for example the infirmary is absolutely priceless.

Small tip, I’m sure u already know this but during covert missions you should try to assign the two same soldiers together over and over again until they bond. This allows their bond relationship to increase and makes it so they get special abilities when they bond

Daley you shouldve gotten the ability that gives the clone parry so he could be like mystic
Once you get a ranger style soldier I would recommend trying to fit him with a shield if that mod is installed to add some extra armor to your squads . Also love your videos Daley keep up the good work man.

That is almost like the same glitch that happened to me. I was facing against the warlock and for some reason he glitch out of the map I was facing him on!
