Huh, a dragon myth from North America, that's a rarity, but an interesting one.
So basically from what I have been able to gather, there is no actual story about a dragon in Yellowstone. The dragon is meant to be a poetic way to refer to places like Dragon's Mouth hot spring. There's no real legend about this
Native American Mythology really has some interesting creatures. It's amazing how widespread Dragons are in very distant cultures.

The creatures design here bares too much resemblance to European dragons.
I knew of the dragons cave there- but I was unaware there was literally a native dragon legend that went with it.
I assumed that was a modern slap on name.
