Alright i was wondering how you could accidentally call the he 118 "stuka". Well its because the wiki page for he 118 mentions the ju 87 stuka in the first paragraph. So you copied wiki so bad you missed that a whole different plane is the stuka. And why did this plane even come up? We are talking about the d4y after all. Well the d4y wiki page mentions the he 118. Which odd you say d4y outclassed it since the 118 was only a prototype… You dont outclass prototypes thats not your actual peer in these situations…
Thank God that the Brits sent us the tech for proximity fuzes and that our people were able to miniaturize them to fit in an AA shell!
Please research the correct pronunciation of “Yokosuka”. It is a 3 syllable word not 4.

As a linguist, I want to make a constructive criticism, one which I offer to every channel I find which covers the modern Japanese navy.
The city and shipyard—and, now, this aircraft—which are spelled Yokosuka, owing to a quirk in transliterating Japanese into Roman characters, should be pronounced “Yoh-KOOCE-kah.”
NOT “Yoh-koh-soo-kah.”
It is, emphatically, “Yoh-KOOCE-kah!”
Any Japanese person and any foreign service member who has served there (as my brother did, in the U.S. Navy) will confirm this!

The Judy was one of those " what-if" airplanes of WWII. It came into service in it's intended role as a dive bomber in 1943, forcing the older D4A to soldier on. Had the Judy been introduced in service in mid 1941 as a dive bomber, I think that US forces would have had a far more difficult time. It could have been a participant at Pearl Harbor and Midway, changing the course of the war.
It's tRICKy again! Most of the best performing Japanese fighting aircraft of that era had that Achille's heel of no armour, and lack of self-sealing fuel tanks, which is why they had such good performance!
I have never encountered the strategy of dropping a bomb into the midst of enemy bomber formations, not that it would take much to scatter them? Rockets, cannon, massed interceptor attecks, maybe, but dropping a bomb? No-one would gleen the neccessary awareness of it even occuring for it to register with an adversary in formation. Ludicrous! Good work though!

Japanese brilliance was on display during World War 2. Most, like I would argue it was a futile effort, BUT the terrifying innovation was studied and in many ways was and still is absolutely brilliant to this day.
If you think for one moment that the premier cost effective Super Tacono, made by Brazil isn't just probably the most cost effective punch up aircraft of all time, I'd say you are absolutely nuts.
I'm Canadian and until I run my country which sloppily spied on Brazil and gor caught, there's no easy way to fix this and modernize our airforce and border patrol until we apologize.
Bombardier could do this and not only increase our absolutely needing use of border patrols from the lessons Brazil has already learned, but the future between Canada and further relationships has to get much much better for enormous mutal and long term benefits for both our nations..we need these agreements with Brazil not today, but in 25 years, but we must start working on trusting each other now.

I love seeing pictures and hearing about aircraft of which I was ill informed or knew nothing. Thank you. One criticism of this one was that I was mystified by the mention of and comparison with the He118 as a dive bomber. Oh, I see it is from a bit of dodgy extraction of a reference where the Ju87 is noted as having been chosen in place of the Heinkel.
