Am I the only one who thinks the creature could also have evolved from bats? I know that convergent evolution is unlikely because a cave system is a very different enviroment from the usual habitats of gorillas, but the snout and the wings are very bat-like… or maybe is the opposite, the creature's ancestors where primates that developth adaptations similar to bats the more they lived in caves

I get the hypnic jerk if i dont drink after a few days but also cant sleep for days also. I got it alot from my opiate addiction but its been less common since i went cold turkey from them after year's of use 6yr ago. The sleep paralysis ive got several times but oddly never was scary.
