  1. interesting video.. but the narration. ReaaaLly? When you … Go… to A… Pooooint. Watch without audio, as there is no car sounds, only the annoying voice.

  2. I remember an Indy race where a spin led to a horrible traffic jam at Long Beach

You forgot Mugello, a filler circuit when several events were canceled in 2020. Seven retirements during that one-time event. It was the first in four years to have two red flags.

  3. I think you were ctually closer to the mark the 1st time around.

As with Valencia and Sochi, there are elements of Miami that aren't at all bad. T3-5 is a nice sequence. T6/7/8 is a rarity in a modern design: a decreasing-radius corner. And the stretch to T11 is nice, as well as setting up for some real overtaking potential. And T17 can draw drivers into a mistake. It's really T1/2 that's awkward. And then you have the T14/15 chicane and T16 that are tight angular, and not terribly attractive. It would also help if the run to T17 wasn't totally straight.

Las Vegas is just weird with its layout, but I wouldn't rank it among the very worst. I'd still definitely say that Caesar's Palace was worse, particularly for how featureless it was. The initial proposal for the current track, with the clean carousel corner around The Sphere would have been better. Now, I'd rank the 2007 Champ Car circuit as being better than any of the F1 efforts, even with that chicane before the tunnel.

I'm not exactly sure why you so totally pan Zeltweg, but don't even mention Sebring.

Honestly, a number of the corners at Okayama are deceptively quick.

Again, they got rid of the T5 hairpin at Detroit after 1982.

Even the short course at Dijon is at least interesting.

AVUS was less than half its pre-War length in 1959.
