It sounds to me like you dont understand Gods wrath comes from his mercy. Hes wrathful to the evil, to bring mercy to the oppressed. Jesus died for our sins on that cross to give us a mustard seed of faith, knowing yat eventually the true followers of God would one day see the light.
Satan makes out God to be wrathful so we fear him and seak Satan's temporary comforts. This is why the Catholic church literally has the antichrist as the pope.
Monotheistic religion strips away human nature for a strict and self-hating lifestyle where you will never feel good about yourself. God doesnt want that because it leads to many other problems. He wants us to recognize our sins so we see what we did wrong. Hes tried to reset the earth in an attempt to vanquish the evil for us. But it still grew again. This time hes taking the believers home, all that follow christ will be saved. Your sins were paid in blood, but only if you take his voucher hes offering you.
Otherwise you are the evil he will destroy. Thats not wrath. Thats love. Love for the good.

I agree that the God of the Bible is the same throughout…. utterly reprehensible. Just read the Book of Job, as just one example of His terrible behavior. God lets Satan kill Job's family and servants, and otherwise torture Job, for only one reason…. so that He (God) could show Satan that Job would remain faithful to Him. God wins a gentleman's bet with Satan, and Job suffers the consequences. That is all I need to know to conclude that the God of the Bible is evil. Other gods, I am less sure.
