All instruments in the Western 12 Tone Equal Temperament tradition (12TET) use notes labelled A through G, as well as a number of in between notes. The Guitar hides the pattern of white and black keys, so having a Piano in your head is useful.
You don’t need to be reading from the clef to practice accurately playing nice notes on your instrument. The Word Game is a way to practice just thinking of a note – C – and playing it on your instrument. By only thinking about one thing at a time, you will build intuitive mastery and be able to listen to the beautiful melodies you write. This game is infinitely scalable, and you can make it as easy or difficult as you want.

Music is Easy is a method developed over 10 years by South London educator and jazz musician Edward Cubitt, which breaks down the Western System of Music Language into simple Games, allowing learners to practice concepts one at a time and develop intuitive mastery by solving puzzles, writing Music, and improvising with sound, Harmony and Rhythm.

This was in fact just the first 12 minutes of a 90 minute session, sadly my phone is a bit broken and it phantom pressed the 'stop recording' without us realising!
We went on to play the Word Game Level 1 and Level 2, and got the camera back up for the second half of the workshop where we went Word Game Level 3 – Voiceleading.
