I bought this game back in 2017 and simply never played it. The visual updates look great! I'm motivated to give this a game a try.

For me it's a lot of the little tweaks that were made that makes the update amazing. Stamina not draining outside combat, picking herbs is instant and doesn't bring up a chest loot menu. And of the course the new hidden quest. THAT is top tier for sureskys

By far the best thing about this update is the optimization. I went from having my pc chug around 35-40 frames on medium settings, to enjoying medium-high settings at a respectable 50-60 frames! Now THAT'S a noticeable upgrade that improved both the look and feel of the game! Also love the updated camera angles. The game feels much more cinematic now. Currently 120 hours into the game and still have dozens of quests to do. What a fantastic value for a game!
Would be nice if I can get my hands on a ps5 so I can play this game! oh wait I can't because they are super hard to find! Are there any changes on the PS4 version?
This game is fucking garbage
Some people think this game is overrated, how? I spent 15-20 hours just doing all the stuff in Novigrad. I'll have over 200 hours after this playthrough. The graphics, combat, story especially, and UI are all AAA quality. I need answers. Sure, the update is overrated and I could care less about it but the game itself isn't.

I never played any Witcher games mainly because the graphics just r not good looking to me and CD Project red r not trustworthy after cyberpunk I will never buy one of there games also FPS looks choppy and not great in this video

the biggest red flag is that PC players got gipped with this update. Cool that certain things are now native in game, but we had 90% of the update through mods. Hell some of the mods are leagues better then what this update does.
I never played the witcher before but everyone kept talking about how good it was. Waited for this next gen update and about 90 hours in and love it. I can't imagine how frustrating it was casting different signs before the quick cast feature they put in this update. Definitely keeps the combat fast-paced
A bit late to post a q now but anyone know if the Dlc also got the upgrade? I didn't finish blood and wine and would love to revisit

U never had to bring up the radial menu for signs on console.nin combat hit right on D-pad they rotate under your health bar but we got the patch now so my tip is useless lol
Why does it look like Rdr2?
Dull story, shitfest characters, and costume upgrades look like Renaissance crap from the upper class. Don't know why it's so hyped.
They actually are reselling this game for PS5 I got it for 30 bucks with all dlcs and items from the show

I downloaded the free upgrade to ps5..played for 1-2 hour, then I was thrown out because of some licens problem, and i cant fix it..
I mean it’s a great update don’t get me wrong..definitely can get a lot more out of skyrim modded though…a lot more
