  11. I had fun with Whisper in highschool.
    Funny thing was having some chat with a schoolmate(completely forgot how chats worked, but there were ways to limit to the school), and i had figured out who he was, and then through talking about standardized test scores, i found out he liked either me or my good friend (though i believe i figured out it was not me)
    He never knew who i was AFAIK.

    But it is nice to be able to kinda vent to open air, without it coming back to you at all. Though definitely a wacky place. only used it less than a year iirc

  16. Just a millennial he/him bisexual British school teacher here needing to reply to some of this because I got called out so specifically. Ahum…

    Your audience is probably mostly they/them's, I love them for that too.

    There are homophobic bi and gay people. We call them closet conservatives.

    Each British person pays about 77p (cents) for the royal family each year. I'm a republican (someone that wants to get rid of the royal family) but childhood indoctrination still makes me want to put up an 07 for old Lizzy. While the monarch acts as a figurehead and hasn't pushed their luck since the magna carta, legally speaking they have total control. Every service member swears loyalty to them and only them. If they wanted to they could declare war, fire nukes, and are 100% totally immune to any prosecution as they have sovereign immunity which means that as head of the state the king or queen 'cannot commit a legal wrong and is immune from civil suit or criminal prosecution'.

    As a millennial teacher who watches RuPaul I can confirm that that is exactly how I came out to my mother, she hi fived me and said she knew 😂

  20. Ok but people absolutely ask if they can try out your wheelchair. I’m an ambulatory wheelchair user who used mine frequently back when I was in school and the amount of kids who asked me if they could HaVe A gO in my wheelchair as if it was a fucking ride is ridiculous. Sometimes if it was parked but not folded up people would just sit in it. I once had to physically tilt a bitch out of my chair

  23. Whisper is where my best friend of 5 years and I met. We both downloaded it for like a week, started talking and quickly deleted it once we saw how weird it was. We agreed to tell everyone a different story of how we met. Especially since we started dating. We both love that we found each other but hate that this stupid and cursed app is forever a part of our history😂

  31. 12:16 I've had glasses since kinder and me and my sister will still switch glasses more than 10 years later because it's just fun to see how our eyes are fucked up in different ways sometimes.

    It's a fun little sensory thing I think, and it also seems kinda cool too get an idea of what the world looks like through someone else's eyes.
    I've always let people try on my glasses whenever asked because my prescription is kind of funky (I'm really nearsighted in one eye and then farsighted in the other) and I think it's really fun watching people get physically ill trying to look through my glasses.
    I've also had friends want to take pictures wearing them which I think is really cute actually and I think it's sweet when someone likes my frames :>

  33. As a kid i always wanted to try on other people's glasses not because i wanted to how blind they were or to make anyone feel bad but because i thought glasses were cool as fuck. I would say "wow your blind" because that's what everyone else said. I even tried doing a bunch of stuff to try and ruin my eye sight b4 i knew we were gonna have eye tests.
    I was a werid kid, but i think I've heard a few people say similar things
