I’ve watched this series more times than you can imagine, this truly is a love letter!
The Christmas Mr. Hyunh episode will forever be one of, if not the best episode of an animated show of all time to me. So much is told in such a short time and yet it feels so detailed and REAL. Because it surely has happened at some point to someone in some way and it is so relatable and evokes a real feeling of empathy. Even as a kid I felt it.
Was never invested into Hey Arnold except a few episodes.. the golf competition between grampa and Helga's dad, Helga gets amnesia, Chocolate boy is an addict, and so on.
Now I'm halfway thru and Jordan's got me interested. I'm going to finish this video this week lol

About Mr. Huynh’s episode , I greatly appreciate the creators efforts in making a meaningful story about a Vietnamese immigrant and his history, plus I also noticed the choice of naming him “Huynh” instead of the typical “Nguyen” that everybody uses for Vietnamese people, the small details matter and i can tell that they cared ❤

I dont think the monitor lizard necessarily had Helgas back and just ate the parrot since monitor lizards are predators like their cousin the Komodo Dragon who would have probably eaten the kids at the school instead.

What a coincidence. Just yesterday I watched the movie because SkyShowtime launched in my country. Too bad I can't see the series yet or any cartoon earlier than 2010
Looking back, this show had so many memorable episodes. It is probably my favorite Nicktoon and a show you could actually learn some valuable life lessons from. As you recollect on these episodes I realize I still remember them all.
Fun fact, Pigeon man's voice actor was the same guy who played the bad guy in the awful Sega CD/Saturn game Corpse Killer. That game is actually interesting to learn about as it was shot like a B movie, check out Pandamonium Review's Corpse Killer episode.
