Everyone around me is sick of me playing this over and over. Everyone that is except my son. We are both on the Austism spectrum…and he hears this and just watches it, mesmerized. Lots to be down about, but The War on Drugs brings me back with these soaring, spiritual anthems. I always feel like I can make it just a little fucking longer when I hear this song.
The genes of a great song is one that sounds like July, but written in November
3 songs into this band. If this song is an example of what they are bringing…then they are instantly in my top 10 all time and movin up quick. This song is pure magic.
