Is this game ever coming out on switch? It would be the absolute perfect match
For some reason I really enjoy the thought of a fully sustainable city on a moving platform I.e Snowpiercer and mortal engines.
This is totally my kinda game.
This game is so good
thanks for the review, i was wondering where the game was at w/r/t stretch goals and how they're being implemented. what a novel idea for a city builder.
The entire time watching this all I could think about was that the background audio track is from Cult of the Lamb. 🐑 Game looks cool though, good review.
I love this sorts of games but i like battles so i probably won't get it, looks cool otherwise
Game looks fun. Can't wait for it to be full release so I can play it.
Nice review. Thank you
I pass… I don't like city building
the music from cult of the lamb made the video relaxing good work
i want onbu fanart bad hes so cute
You died 3 times….NOOB!
Terry Pratchett and the Valley of the Wind
games fun
30.4 hours in to the game on Novice mode, I failed 3 times (forgot to feed) and now I'm at day 285, trying to hit that 1 year mark!
Nice review! Really hyped about the game. As an old "The Settlers" fan, Wandering Village somehow got me. So I was playing it since the release of the first demo some months ago. I also just published my review about the game on my channel, summarizing my impressions.
This game looks so unique and interesting. So glad I caught this video. Can't wait to check this one out!
obu is a titanosaurus if you know you know
I was never fun of city builders, as they typically force you to pay too much attention to smallest things like individual villagers, constantly having to check the season and weather and so on and theyre big on time managing and strategy
Wandering Village so far seems to need very little of strategy, time managing and micromanaging. Perfect for me, who never got the hang of startegy games (like RA, AoE) and Im loving this game. I just hope there'll be some end goal added in the future. Becuz every randomly made map seems to have pretty much same amount of resources and fecc I cant explain further
So far I had time to play beginner difficulty twice and medium once. The medium seems sometimes easier than my first attempt
In nutshell, playing this game doesnt need elite strategist and I find that enjoyable
what ghibli movie is this from lol
Is this video 15fps?
Everything under 60 should be a crime.
Brand new subscriber here, I was looking into Against the storm and now, instead of buying a game like I had planned, I'm just binge watching your "Worth your time" videos, I used to be an avid Gameranx :"Before you buy" watcher, but I'm happy to say I have another source of intel before spending a few bucks on a new game to get lost in. Excellent job, Codiak, and thanks for popping up in my youtube search! Lol
will the early access also include the full game free of charge when released? and will refunds be offererd if the game never reaches its release? because playing £15 for a demo pretty steep, £5 perfectly reasonable but over £10 is a bit much, if release is garanteed and given to people who purchace the early access then id gladly buy it for £15 though
Looks good
It's so charming the music is so nice
Great review. I really want this game, does anyone know if it works well on Mac? Thank you
It may be worth my time, but is it worth the wait? It's been nearly, if not over, 2 years since the game was announced and a entire year since the game supposedly was coming to console. How much longer do people on console have to wait to get to experience this gem?
On Gamepass day one this month.
I hope this game does well. It's a great premise and I love the different levels of interconnected management, a sim city where you're responsible for the heath and well-being of your environment.
Gave this a try last night on my xbox. Super fun, I love games like this and the art style is perfect for it. Definitely a unique take on city builders. Can't wait to get home tonight and continue building a town on the back of my pet kaiju.
Sorry about the hasty comment, after watching this game looks AWESOME!!!
It’s mostly fun, but once you max out the tech tree there’s nothing more.
Also late game it just throws storms at you destroying 30% of your town every couple minutes until you run out of resources to fix all the destruction.
I’ve been playing the game fore a day, it’s so relaxing and the art is adorable!
I've never played city builders because I'm afraid I'll get bored but this one looks so good that I'm really tempted to try it. Thanks for the review!
I found this game on gamepass last night and it's definitely addicting and charming. I love the entire premise of the game however, it's not without it's faults so keep that in mind when playing it that it's not fully finished. I also thought it would be relatively easy until all of my villagers died of starvation. I was unaware you had to put a berry gatherer next to actual berries. I also wish there was a way for you to immediately assign villagers to move full air wells to water tanks. I'm also not sure why my villagers insist on leaving materials on the floor versus moving them to the material storage containers which have plenty of space. I think one of the best things to do early on is to create the scavenging hut as this will allow you to send workers to various areas without removing any stumps on onbus back as he really hates that. Also, unlocking onbu research is vital as without him, it's also, game over. Overall I'm very much enjoying this game and can't wait to see the finished product.
Sure it's worth your time…for a limited time. The ceiling is pretty low in this one and there's very limited replay value, if any. The lack of content doesn't make it worth the price tag. The art work and some of the concepts are cool but you can easily burn through it in under 8 hours at which point there will be nothing left to do other than achievements.
