Our First Time Watching: The Walking Dead Season 6 Episode 12 (Not Tomorrow Yet): Rick, Glenn, Maggie, and Daryl strategize with Andy, a Hilltop scout, on attacking the building they believe to be the Saviors’ stronghold. They plan to arrive at night, on the ruse that they are delivering Gregory’s head to gain admittance to the building, and seize the room they believe to be the armory.
When there is full daylight, Tara and Heath depart on a planned scavenger run. Morgan, back at Alexandria, busily welds bars together to make a detention cell. While Michonne wonders which of the corpses might be Negan, Rick’s group stop a last Savior attempting to escape by motorcycle — Daryl’s which had been stolen earlier. Daryl is beating the man when a female voice comes over the Savior’s walkie-talkie ordering them to lower their weapons, saying that they have Carol and Maggie.

  1. Gabriel: "I go to prepare a place for you."
    Savior: "Blood's coming."
    Gabriel: "Amen."

What an amazing episode, so many poignant scenes. We will never forget it would be the first time we see Glenn killing the living…
We are getting closer and closer to some frighting episodes…

  2. you mentioned it already but to this day I gotta be honest .. I don't know If that was the right way for them to handle this situation😅 I mean I get it but I think they were all a little naive in a way or maybe not naive but felt too invincible. I mean just imagine how carefully they for example handled the Terminus situation. They observed them and were very careful. Here they still made a plan but they didn't really gather information first I feel like and then killing all these people in their sleep. The problem is, yes we've seen what some of them can do an what some of them are capable of but just as it was with Woodbury – there probably were also people there who were innocent or even ''good'' people that are just trying to survive as well. Difficult situation

  3. 13:29 “We’ll keep Jesus in the shadows”

That line goes VERY deep. I don’t know if Rick was talking about Paul…

21:42 “Let not your heart be troubled. In my Father’s house there are many mansions, if it were not so I would have told you. I go prepare a place for you.”

AMEN! Coldest scene in TWD, Gabe is so great.

  4. I've always seen these episodes as being like a rollercoaster ride. Right now it's just click, click, click as the tension rises to it's peak. Remember R&T Keep you head, hands, arms legs and feet inside the ride at all times…….. and buckle up!

  5. fun fact those images of the people's heads bashed to bits, there is actually an easter egg of picture 'Big Tiny' from the prison. Big Tiny was one the big prison who was killed by Tomas from the prison after getting scratched by a walker.

  7. You mentioned the time frame and felt like Tara and Denise fell in love kinda quick…I think that at least a couple of months had passed between the walkers got into Alexandria and present day.

  8. Not going to lie, I've always disliked this episodes for many reasons. While I understand why the group decided to do this, I felt like up to this point, they've never been the attackers and only used violence as a defense. So this disappointed me in a way if that makes sense? To be fair to Rick, I've seen people compare him to the governor, but he's nothing like him, in my opinion. Rick let the group decide and he didn't hide behind lies and a nice smile. He was upfront and there was no surprise about what was going to go down. However, I remember seeing this for the first time and it definitely made me a bit sick to see it. I don't 100% agree with Morgan and I don't 100% agree with Rick (I'm somewhere in the middle). I'd kill to protect those I love but not unprovoked. In this world, either way you go is risky and would have consequences. But both POV are valid. Like you said, Morgan and Rick have every right to feel the way they do. Keep up the great reactions!

  9. First he says This needs to be a group decision. Then he says they have to accept it. I think the pictures were to remind him of what Negan would do to him if he betrayed him and they were probably from his old group. wow They got the guys, but not the girls and this is just one of Negan's outposts.

  10. I love how rick is a badass that would kill gabe if gabe would be a 1% threat
But after he see gabe changing he give him the chance and accept it and dont ignore him

Thats what a real leader in that world need 2 to calculating!

I love that you see morgan should stay how he is cause if he go back hes lost in the darkness again.
    Its like a addiction
Most people watch this show and hate morgan for be the " Kumbaja " morgana how they call him.
I Love that we have a human that symbolize the old world.

  11. Imagine what Glenn says about feeling bad about what killing someone will be like.

Now imagine what Rick feels from going from a family man dad/sherif to being the stone cold guy we know now and what toll mentally that would do to a person.

That’s why in my opinion anything Rick decides or does is 1000% is justifiable regardless of situation because he does it for the betterment of the group so his people can
survive or that his people walk away from possible dangerous strangers.

  12. They don't give glenn shit for not killing because he's never actively gone out of his way to not kill and he never secretly took someone who was part of a group that attacked them and left them alive in their home

  13. Tara confessing to Gabriel while a character named Jesus is watching over their shoulders and then Glenn and Heath committing the sin of murder only to be saved moments later by…Jesus. The writers really had a lot of fun with Jesus in this one.
