  1. Negan: "I am going to huff. I am going to puff. I am going to blow your … all the way in."

Who would have thought that we would be this hyped to see Negan like this again!

  2. So the Negan fanboy was Brandon, the guy they had watching him when he was on work detail. What’s interesting is in the comics Brandon is the one who lets Negan out because Rick killed Brandon’s father in self defense after hecwas attacked following the pike incident. Brandon is also closer to Carl’s age in the comics and actually got beaten up by Carl several volumes earlier. However it doesn’t seem like he is the one who let Negan out in the show, as Negan is surprised Brandon found him. So who did let him out? I say this knowing you’ve probably already gotten to the reveal episode in your recordings.

  3. Love this ep, always awesome to have more Daryl and Connie, and Negan of course. As for Daryl and Carol, I really don’t see them as a romantic couple, their relationship is very platonic. I shipped them really early in the series, but as time passes you really see the nuances of the different connections between characters. The show does this really well, and you can really feel who loves each other in a deep family connection way, or in a romantic way. Daryl and Connie are smitten as heck around each other, and their dynamic is very different from Carol and Daryl.

  4. Perfect day to get this, my pet jumping spider finally came out of hiding and I was so worried about her, she literally just popped up at the same time as I noticed this, perfect perfect timing.

  6. The reason why Magna is upset is because when it was just the five of them they all made decisions together. Now Yumiko is making them herself, ignoring Magna’s ideas (we saw that last episode when she didn’t even acknowledge Magna’s idea about where to put the injured people). So Magna is feeling undermined. Judging by her personality type I think she finds it difficult to express her thoughts sometimes and therefor she closes up like a clam instead. It also explains why she hid that food. That was the only way she felt like she could contribute to her small family. It was the way she’d kept them safe before and she intends to keep doing that.

  7. Don’t feel bad about loving Negan. We don’t forgive or forget what he done but he’s done his time which is crazy in this world. Brilliant character and even better actor.

  8. I remember loving the small things in this episode like Negan giving the kid a lesson in "nut tapping" and flying, Aaron being from Vermont (Everything about him actually screams Vermont) and Thora Birch as Gamma. A lot of us ship "Donnie"! Negan finding the Whisperers! What a great episode! Rob&Trin are my favorite TWD reactors!

  9. One thing I love about what Angela Kang has done she’s added so many real world elements into the past 2 Seasons to really make this universe feel more alive and real Snow storms a falling satellite cancer an other things Just little details that make the TWD world feel like it could exist in our world.

  10. A lot of people gave Magna a lot of shit after this episode but honestly I can see things from her perspective They talked about how in previous episodes how they did similar things in their previous communities one of them called Coalport they mention often She would hide supplies and abandon posts and when things fell She was able to get her family out and keep them alive I’m not saying it was the morally right thing to do or that she shouldn’t be punished for it but I can understand why from her perspective it was the choice she made People like Daryl and Michonne and the others aren’t her true family yet Yumiko Luke Connie and Kelly are And from the beginning it was clear she has trust issues with everyone IDK if I’m only defending her because I’ve seen Nadia Hilker the actress in a lot of interviews and she’s literally the sweetest person ever lol but I do get where the character is coming from.

  11. Brandon’s death was great I saw it not only him pissing Negan off but he was also a demonstration to Negan about how his past actions impacted somebody so greatly Brandon was raised by his Savior parents who idolized Negan which made Brandon cling on to all the real and made up stories about the worst things Negan had done shaping him Brandon was so delusional that he genuinely thought that Negan was testing him to see if he was strong enough because that is something Negan could’ve done in the past Negan killed Brandon in revenge for killing that innocent woman and her son but also partially in disgust of the fact that his old self had a part in creating somebody so awful By killing Brandon his biggest fanboy who campaigned for the return of classic Negan he was also killing his old villainous self and trying to put his past behind him He wants to be more than just his tarnished legacy.

    Love that.

  13. That ending scene is one of the best closing scenes in the show’s history At least as a Negan fan it was Getting to see the old Negan come out for a bit and then seeing Beta stare him in the eyes and of all things to say he says All right you big ass freak lets do this As Brandon said that was Classic Negan.

  15. I cant really blame my girl Magna shes just looking out for her people and if we're being honest if our group had to choose between their own or Magnas group they'd choose their own. Also they are new so they dont really know our people like that.

  17. The creepy guy with Negan was the guy in Alexandria that was in charge of guarding Negan when he was out doing laundry or in the garden. Remember he said to Negan "Get back to work…. sir" Don't worry, Negan is still strategic. The mid season finale is still episode 8 I believe. The last 6 episodes are extra, stand alone types that adds insight to some things.
