  1. I never really bought Negan's "redemption" and still haven't forgiven him for Glenn's death. Negan returning to a more realistic position as a villain makes a lot of sense to me, and I will look forward to seeing how he adapts to life in the Manhattan of the Dama and the Croat. I love the acting of Jeffrey Dean Morgan, so I'll be glad to see more of him. Maggie is a character I can live without, but she doesn't annoy me sufficiently not to watch _Dead City_. Anything with post-apocalyptic New York is always fun. Also looking forward for sure to the Daryl Dixon spin-off.

  2. As far as bein apart of TWD universe I see it as a homerun. This 1st season(like most) had grea story, wasn't dull, kept u focused to make sure u didn't miss anything. Great to see Negan once again try n prove to Maggie he is sincerely sorry about Glen, he could have killed her multiple times when she turned on him and he knew from early on that she wasn't giving him the full truth but also didn't want anything to happen to Herschel or Maggie. He stepped big time.im curious how he is gonna be when he tries to be Negan of old, to once again save Herschel. Maggie has to realize he is legit sorry and he will always be there t help her and most of all Herschel. I think thy need to get hitched lol can't wait for season. 2 and Darryls show and Rick/Michonne! Great 1st season tho

  3. I have always had a bit of a strange relationship with TWD franchise as a whole. Never really got into it for the longest time until season 7 was about to come out and one of the first scenes I ever really watched was the final scene of season 6. I then watched all of season 7 week to week but wasn’t really impressed by it so I fell off after that. I would check in periodically to see where things were at and then leave it for a time and come back later. All this to say it’s funny the beginning of my walking dead journey is when Negan showed up on the scene. Since that is the case I never had any attachment to Glen or Abraham and never felt the hatred towards him others have. Anyway I really liked this season of Dead City and am looking forward to a season 2.

  4. I thought it was ok. For me they seemed to make Maggie very unlikable and way to stubborn. Why wouldn't use the oxygen? The guy you had the issue with is dead. Use the O2 and stop being dumb.

  5. Ngl I hated the way Maggie and Negans relationship worked execution wise and made me lose interest at the start. However I love the choice here where Maggie ironically put Negan back in a position of power once again. Negan in order to protect has to revert back to his old self. It feels like the two characters will be tested to see if they can hold off their immoral obligations.

  6. I really enjoyed this series. At first I didn’t know how focusing on one or two characters (out of the large cast of the main series) in an individual series would work, but it’s very interesting. With that season finale I’m invested in a season 2.

  7. I think the split screen of faces at the end was more the pair returning to their previous roles, oppressor and rebel, but under each others circumstances with Negan being the one trapped into keeping people safe, and Maggie being the one on the hunt so to speak. It makes more sense to me than Maggie suddenly getting over her now habitual hatred of Negan because of a few drawings, one being of a woman she's never met or seen before.
