Joe is a trouble maker fo sho
Joe 1000% has a reason to curse them
modern humans lol….Iran vs Isreal….yes very modern lol
🤡 battle of the clowns
Sounds like modern day religions and political factions.
Almost
As an antropologist, i never heard so much nonsense in such short video. nearly everything he said was wrong
Fighting for resources, I'm guessing
This guy is a racist. Indigenous people are amazing.
If they are willing to kill me after befriending me then I can’t feel bad for what happens to them
They’ve survived for 10k+ years like that if it ain’t broke
Clearly Mr. Barnhart is unaware of how our government operates.
Paul Rosolie has some amazing stories about uncontacted tribes
There's always a blood cost, indigenous of the Americas weren't hipocritical about it.🐆
Tribal warfare evolved into Maras, barrios, and cartels. Modern territories could have been rivals in prehispanic times. You can get chopped to bits in the Salvadoran jungle to this day.
We're just violent animals at our core.
Savages??? You mean like the Europeans!!
I found this clip interesting. I'm Somali (technically Somalilander, which feeds into what I'm going to say) and this mindset is exactly why the whole Horn of Africa and South Sudan are in perpetual conflict and women and children hate it, but by in large the men are accustomed to it. It's a genetic memory. A historical core belief that "those people in the other valley" are your enemy, want your cattle and women so fight
In his explanation of continued everlasting violence it was funny he skipped over the two most obvious answers. Crips and Bloods. Jews and Muslims.
Those poor savages need to learn some Dharma.
I didn't see the whole episode, but I hope he isn't referring to all indigenous people acting this way. I say that because I hear Lex and him referring to this behavior as a base level that civilization evolved from. Absolutely not the case. My people were known as being incredible traders along the southeastern US before Columbus- something that wouldn't be possible if all indigenous people just killed any outsiders they met. Not to mention the many cities that were centers for trade, and daily peaceful interactions that facilitated many types of agreements and alliances. Even some of the structure of the US is based on the "Iriquois" (Haudenosaunee) Confederacy of the Six nations.
I'd even go so far as to say that cooperation is the human default setting, but perceived or real slights are the trigger for drastic, and sometimes deadly, actions. And often times, these uncontacted tribes' first encounter is with loggers who are also hostile to them – which sets the tone for future encounters with modern people. We have access to information that they don't. Better to use that to spread understanding, not fear.
If you think you dont have it in you, your wrong. Only 500 years ago most of us would kill or be killed in wars and in fighting. We all come from what is now called savages but we are all capable of it. Evolution demands only the strong survive and breed the most.
That warrior in the image was literally a henchman for the Mayan kingdom. The literal antithesis of uncontacted. An image of the main character in Apocalytpo would’ve actually been applicable.
Dumbshit American liberals think that all native peoples are dug using hippies
If it's not white…. :DDD
