  1. Romance in the world of witcher is messed up. I heard in the book geralt slept with triss and philipa while still in relationship with yennefer(I'm not sure if that's true or not). As mush as badass geralt is, he is such a pervert lol.

  2. Everyone is level 4 at the most when they enter Velen. You pretty much maxed out on XP* in White Orchard. Killing extra enemies only reward you with 1 XP each, I think.

(* I think you missed out on 75 XP from not killing a "bonus ghoul" at a monster nest but that was about it.)

  3. A little tip for weight capacity:
    1) There is ageneral skill (brown color) that gives you extra 60 capacity when equiped. You can take that skill, and when you get the potion of clearance you might redeem you skill points later on.
    2) There is a decoction that increases your capacity (werewolf decoction)
    3) Finally buy an item for the item which increases your capacity (go back to white orchard that guy you saved might have one).

  4. If you want to stash your level 11 set, you can take a signpost back to White Orchard and use your stash there. You also have merchants to sell stuff to there.

EDIT: Haven't people told you to not go behind a scared horse? ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. You can sell the books. Once you have read them, the text can be found in the 'Books' section.

'Jenny o' the Woods' contract quest wasn't added to your journal because you didn't take the notice. That's why the board is still yellow on the map.

  6. I have to warn you about something: The Bloody Baron quest line is regarded as one of the best quests in computer games. A lot of people have very strong opinions about it, and will tell you their opinions while you are still playing the quest, and sadly spoil it for you. I highly recommend to NOT read the comments while you still haven't finished this quest line, or have at least a friend who played the game to check the comments for spoilers and tell you what comments are fine to read.

The black smith you visited in Blackbough is sometimes bugged: You can't talk to him, even when he stands right there working at his forge. A short meditation does the trick, just give him enough room to spawn! ๐Ÿ˜‰You can only talk to him during day time.

Lol, when you were riding just past the Keiras hut! ๐Ÿ˜†

No, you can do the quests whenever you want, though some side (!) quests might fail IF you start them an then leave Velen without finishing them, but these are very rare. Witcher contracts, treasure hunts, or the diagram quests are all fine to do whenever you want.
I recommend to do the Witch part of the Velen main quest first, before starting the Baron part, though, the stash in Velen is locked behind the beginning of the Baron quest. You can always fast travel back to White Orchard to use the stash there, so it isn't really a problem.

  7. The standalone gwent game is very different (and much more complicated) than the gwent in Witcher 3. Getting good at one of them doesn't really translate much into the other.

You bought some better cards (and won one) in White Orchard than the worst in your deck. I recommend some rearranging, take out the trash.
(Btw, don't play a Medic card when there is nothing in your discard pile to resurrect.)

  8. Not much can be blocked off early on, quest wise. If you continue the Keira questline with 'Wandering in the Dark' and also complete the next quest in her questline and then start the next one after that, a tiny quest (more like an event you can stumble upon) near the coast north of Blackbough will be blocked off.

  9. By the gwent game you are referring to are you referring to Throne Breaker Witcher Tales? Cause that would be a great game for you to play on your channel. It has a great story and it shows how Geralt became a knight of Rivia.

  10. I'm glad you said that about Geralt, he also reminds me of Batman sometimes, except for the brutal killing and dismemberment. But this version gives me Batman vibes from time to time and it's funny that you think that as well, or at least, at some degree.

  11. GWENT strategy if u r interested! ๐Ÿ™‚

-leave the weather cards only take the weather clearer if your opponent uses weather cards u can clear them since weather cards effect both of your fields
(later when u r more skilled u can try to use them but in the beginning, it is just waste of space) take them out from your deck…

-u can try to use your worst cards in the beginning of the match to lure out your opponent's best cards.. then just pass and let him win the first round… and win the last two with your high cards..

-spy cards are best used in the beginning since u will lose the first round anyway so it doesn't matter that u add to your opponent's points… but u will gain 2 cards for your deck

    – if u have special cards like healing or cards that double your point etc.. best used also later second or third round

So this is just one kind of strategy there are many others.. ๐Ÿ˜€ I just wrote this so u can think of other strategies than throwing out all your good cards in the beginning and then left empty-handed.. ๐Ÿ˜€ hope it helps love your playthrough!

  12. I have a Feedback for you:
please walk slower and take your time listening to NPCs and understading the environement, for example:
    – At 7:00 you could have followed them to listen to the rest of the conversation
46:37, you are jumping all around and running to get loot, and you miss what the village are talking about, you learn a lot about the region events and get immersed if you check that
53:24 you did not pay attention to what they were saying about children
55:43, if you stayed at a DISTANCE from these women, you would have listened to them and found out about where was Kiera, without having to pay the other guy 50 crowns. Instaed you straight run spriting to them so when they saw you, she told her: "Shhh.. someone is coming", that's the reason you hear a game sound related to the quest ( you missed their dialogue)
    edit: Same for 58:13

This is feedback so next videos can be awesome to watch.

  13. You know if you press E, that would not take ALL the loot at once, no that's the "SPACE" key that does that. So you can press E to take loot one by one, and avoid having Geralt hitting the air when you are looting

  14. Note that the Gwent game on Steam is extremely different from the one in TW3 – I still love it, though!. One version you might want to try out is "Thronebreaker" since there's a really good story next to fun Gwent games. At any rate, TW3 Gwent is far simpler.
