  1. I am very excited about this roster, to be honest. The last few spots are kind of head scratchers…. Moore, Roldan and Morris made me tilt my head. However, the rest of the squad is really solid. This is the best team we've ever had by a large margin. Let's see how we do.

  2. "The Vibes" is weak and the intensity needs to go to the next level. THE VIBES needs to be bring your f#*'_$ best game and stop being soft. This isn't WCQ anymore or some soft domestic friendly is the Damn World Cup time for these boys to stand up like men.. Let's go USMNT

  3. Aaron Long, Shaq Moore, Jesus Ferreira, Jordan Morris, and Christian Roldan. None of these players belong in this roster. At the same time, Zack Steffen did not either. He did not even travel to play with, or sit on the bench with, the team for more than half of the qualifiers or any of the friendlies after we qualified. I personally question his desire and commitment. That point aside, he has been injured multiple times over the last year even when he is just sitting on the bench and when he does get to play he makes bone headed mistakes that you wouldn't expect from a high school goalie (look at the game vs. Liverpool at Wembley). He is a risk health wise but even more of a risk decision wise. Sorry but he wasn't "snubbed", he didn't deserve the call up. That being said, there are five other people who DID get a call up that didn't deserve it so in that respect I guess you could say he was "snubbed" but that's a bit of a stretch. Furthermore, what is GGG's obsession with NOT CALLING IN ANY OTHER LEFT BACKS??????

  4. Stat nerds are a mixed bag for FB. Context matters. PSXG+/- always proved Turner was the superior option to Steffen, when the Europhiles were like "Steffen plays at Man City, we have to start him!". But XG for strikers is an abused stat. We've known forever & from common sense you're heavily dependent upon teammates to score as a CF. Groningen suck. So a CF is up against it there. For Pepi to still be scoring, he should be hailed. This is not to mention him being a pressing & passing asset, as well as his superior USMNT performance.

  5. First off, is thee any chance we see a different formation? Seems like we need to be at least willing to try something like a 4-2-3-1. So you all seem to feel Long sill see more time on the field. Wouldn't you consider CCV a better player than Long? As for the A. Rob replacement, If he's hurt, are we better off leaving Dest in his best position and putting Scally in as the left? At least that way we keep one of the guys in his rightful position and not having two backups in off positions. So who's off so we cold have trout Pepi? Great discussion gentleman!

  6. Aaron Long's vibes don't even seem great. That mic'd up video of him he was just walking around being annoying and it seems like everyone's just like "sure man, you just do you… whatever."

  7. If Gregg is turning a corner, then why do we still see all these guys that he refuses to let go of? Roldan, Morris, Long just haven't had the product on the pitch. Moore is good, but four RBs?!

  8. I would play Gio in the midfield with Musah and Adams for the Wales match… McKennie is just coming back from injury and he can be really good coming off the bench.

  9. Senegal have lost Mane, and that changes things for our round of 16 matchup. If we can avoid Netherlands, then we will be facing Senegal with no Mane, or Ecuador (the only team younger than us). I know some have said Qatar could have help, but I don't think they get out the group.
