Yes, life of many sorts are challenged by natural events and by what we humans do, or in some cases fail to do. All forms of life on this planet share some genes with humans, so it is not possible to survive without consuming plant or annimal cells containing some genes in common with our own. Large animal's and tiny seed, plus everything in between has, or did have live cells with genetic material in common to some degree, with everything else, including us humans, so it is not possible to survive without consuming whole or parts of other lifeforms. However we humans are quite destructive and wasteful and we are prone to cause much damage because of all the toxic products we use from time to time, or even daily, and the legacy of that is intefering with the lifecycles of many other lifeforms.! For example bees are becoming scarce in some places, partly as a result of human activity.! However it should be remembered that, without chemicals to promote growth and control weeds and crop pests, much of the world's population would not be able to get sufficient food to survive !!! 🤔
I appreciate Sadhguru and those who think of the earth as a living being who also deserves consideration. I am grateful! Thanks to the You tuber who posted this! Everyone else!
