  1. Happy New Year Everyone. I am working on a long video for the 11th on a person many of you have requested. A truly remarkable woman. But didn't want to leave you with no content during this period. So will make a few short posts on different women. And maybe some shorts during this period. As well as maybe a sneak peak. But from the 11th we will go back to our deep dives at a rate of one per week. Thanks for understanding and your patience.

  2. @Mythic Women :
THANK YOU SO MUCH !! I was hoping you would produce something like this on The Late HRMQEII.
I ABSOLUTELY loved her and STILL do. The ONLY woman who NEVER put a foot wrong, EVER !! I hated that an American & the Queen's OWN grandson would make her last few years, as miserable as possible. Especially, since The Late HRMQEII tried to protect her husband from the hurricane that was ONLY an attempt to destroy the monarchy.
A woman who faced her cowardly uncle's abdication, the deaths of her grandfather, King George V, her father's, King George VI, painful, lingering death of lung cancer, her paternal grandmother's, Queen Mary, death, less than a year after her own father's death, her fight against the nazis & ALL the rest.
Yet, this American THOUGHT, with her VILE lies, she could destroy the monarchy. It was King George V that had given her her nickname "Lillibet". I am an American, but, at heart I am a TRUE Monarcist. PLEASE give The Late Queen Elizabeth the justice & honor she deserves !!
If you produce a vid on Queen Mary, King George V's wife, there is a book called "MATRIARCH" by Anne Edwards, you will see photograph that you will swear are of The Late Queen Elizabeth II. But they are of Queen Mary as a child and of her daughter, The Princess Mary, who by the way, was the LAST Princess Royal, BEFORE Princess Anne, was given that title. The title of "Princess Royal" is for Life & there can NEVER be two "Princess Royal" at the same time. It is given to ONLY a Monarch's eldest daughter. So, Princess Charlotte will not be given the title, until, sadly, the Passing of Princess Anne. Only Prince William, as king, can give her the title. I'm sorry this is SOOO long, but History is my First Love,
which is why I am such a HUGE fan of your channel. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK !!

  3. One final note. The Line King Charles III repeated, toward the end of his tribute to The Late HRMQEII, is a line from Hamlet. It was said by his best friend, while Hamlet lay dying: "May Flights of Angels sing thee to thy Rest". I had it written on my brother funeral card. My brother was only 36 when he was taken from us. Of course, it was written by The Bard, when he wrote "Hamlet". Such a sad, but, beautiful line !!

  5. Firstly, thank you for giving us a video during this holiday period and, thank you for highlighting our late Queen. Especially poignant at this time. I admire her as I admire most of her generation. She reminds me of my parents, my father was born in 1924 and my mother in 1930 and like HMTLQ, they had an unwavering sense of responsibility and duty in everything they did. The Greatest Generation indeed.

  6. I was in the crowd waiting for HRH Queen Elizabeth II to walk among us after she had lunch with Plymouth city council. I was lucky enough to be standing 3 feet in front of her when she stopped to acknowledge the people. My memory of that day was twofold. I said to my then 3 year old daughter, whom I held in my arms, ‘ that’s our Queen’ as I looked into the most beautiful blue eyes I had ever seen.

  7. Omid Scobie has claimed, on numerous occasions, that the absolutely precious photo of HRM Queen Elizabeth II (RIP💔) surrounded by her 2 youngest grandchildren and her great-grandchildren during their final visit to Balmoral is PHOTOSHOPPED!! And, yes I realize that Archie and Lili aren’t in it, but that isn’t the Queen’s fault! What is your opinion on the authenticity of the photo?!
