The only sport will you never win – you only fail. Yet those of us that ski embrace this sick, mental and physical beatdown time and again. See you on the lake!
Wow! This is a great documentary. Provides great insight into the athleticism, commitment and heart it takes to compete in this sport at such a high level. Awesome film!
Recall skiing on a Chuck sterne water ski in the late 60s, was designed for ocean water skiing. It loveed to cut straight through the waves, was designed to go straight and not turn.
If you are a waterskier you will know, this is a very accurate video. We do it for the love of the sport and as an "old school" skier, it brings us back to our youth every time we hit the water. Most everyday people do not understand but they respect the sport completely. Those that are lucky enough to have spent time with the sport, and completely understand it, are grateful! If you are not a competitor, it is still a rewarding sport that you can do as you age, but don't push your limits! Keep the fun in Waterskiing !! This is a great documentary!
Awesome video catches the passion, grit, and determination of all 3 events in waterskiing! Fantastic Documentary. Thanks for making this film!!! Thanks for the Webcasts promoting tournaments TWBC!
Probably the greatest waterski production of all time. I think part 2 should be in the works with all of the great ones and their current prodigies. Thanks Tony
Hi TWBC, how do we contribute? Have you thought about setting up with Patreon or something similar? I'd like to make small contributions to help keep this show going and I'm sure there would be a lot of others like me that would do the same.
So well done! Swing was a huge part of my life and gave me a lot of opportunity but it's been decades since I ran through course. This made me want to change that.
HUGE congratulations TWBC on a superb documentary. A fabulous representation of the sport that we all adore. Thank you for making this happen. πππππ
It seems slalom skiing comes down to who has the longest arms and who is the tallest. Seems kind of goofy. The shorter person is going to have a disadvantage.
The producer Vincent Stadlbaur I presume is the son of Clint Stadlbaur, who started water skiing with me, while Peter Stadlbaur, Clint's father, taught me how to ski when I was nine years old. I stopped skiing in 1978 this is the best promotional piece i have seen for the sport. THANK YOU
I would definitely suggest giving the documentary a watch to get a better understanding of this awesome sport and to get familiar with some of the talented athletes involved in it.βπ€π
This was AMAZING to watch. I am an avid watcher of all things WBC…so much skill and inspiration in all the broadcasts…and this video took it to a whole new level to help explain how awesome waterskiing is. LOVED IT!
Outstanding!!! This brought back so many memories! I recreationally slalom skied my whole life and did amateur slalom club tournaments for a short time. The thrill of running the course is addicting! The people are amazing!
What part on unknown are you talking about. On any given weekend look around. What do you think people are doing with a $100k ski boats that are everywhere. Love the sport.
Where my ski?!
