Do you still have the train horn on the Kubota
WooooooooHeeeeeeeeHeeeeeeeee!!!Alright!!!! 🤗
Pretty cool!
Doesn’t the freeze dried squash suck up a lot of oil?
I really like the variety on your channel Josh. You do a great job with that. Stay cool down there.
I like that you are honest about the product. I've seen videos that seem to put a hype around products. I feel your more genuine with your review.
25 years I'm lucky if I got 10 left 😆
There is never an issue with to many cast iron pots and pans. Anytime I get a chance to buy some cheap used cast-iron I grab every piece I can. That machine looks awesome as well buddy now to pinch pennies for a few years to afford one here on the farm.
I call Dibbs on the Squash in 25 Years
NOW we know how you lost weight. A slice of zucchini is your typical dinner. 😉
You got your rack upside down
Hey Josh, thanks for sharing and demonstrating the freeze dryer. You mentioned storing the freeze dried food in Mylar bags and I see that Harvest Right provides some with a purchase. But my question is – can you vacuum seal them instead of using the Mylar bags? Just wondering since I don’t know the answer. Thank you 🙏
Hey 👋 Josh, AWESOME VIDEO my friend!! I noticed in the beginning you talked about having too much squash well buddy if you ever want to sell that delicious looking squash let me know, I'm not that far from ya and I'd pay just about whatever you want to take for it, it's very hard to find good squash and I love it year round!!! Thanks man!
Jay.
You ever tried grilling squash, zucchini, asparagus and red onions? It good!
Have a good weekend
Your turning into the Martha Stewart farmer…but I like the variety of your content.
What I will do? Probably die… Don't have the land and I don't have the space. We can live a week or two from the freezer but that's it…
We were just talking about freeze drying our squash. Thanks for the video! Hope you got some good rain. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
From 2:20 to 5:03 the rack was right from 6:20 to 8:39 rack is upside down.
Wish I had a couple grand for a freeze dryer.. Good job! 👍
Hey Josh, ive been following your channel for at least 5 years, ill be honest ive gone about 6months or more not watching your videos. But i was just watching Mikes (our Wyoming life) video on the scammers and saw your comment and figured i needed too see what you were up too! Hopefully all is well and glad to see your getting ready for the tough times were in/ahead of us!
Cool to see you got a freeze dryer! We got one and love it, got 4 costco chickens going right now (were working on getting ready to raise and process our own birds as well as ones i harvest during hunting season, duck and goose).
Hope all is well and your enjoying the Freeze Dryer! WOOO!

I love my cast iron, I thought they couldn't go on a glass top range?
The tray holder is upside down. Orange b elongs on top
im excited to see other projects you film with this freeze dryer.
Make squash casserole:
6-8 med squash sliced (freeze dried?)
1 large sweet onion chopped
2-3 Tbs butter
Cook first 3 ingredients together in cast iron pan (drain water off from fresh squash after sweating veggies)
Then mix in…
1 cup grated carrots
1 cup sour cream
1 cup cream of chicken soup
1 egg beaten
Salt & pepper to taste
Butter a casserole dish and sprinkle bottom with:
Seasoned stuffing mix or crushed seasoned croutons
Add squash mixture
Top with more seasoned crumbs…dot with butter
Cook at 350* for 30-40 minutes
Add shredded sharp cheddar cheese on top for last 10 minutes or until melted & browned….so delicious!
Hey Josh, great video. Just wondering – do you have many issues with squash bugs in your neck of the woods? We can’t keep up with them without pesticide on our zucchini and crookneck yellow squash.
Thanks!
I do believe the orange pads goes on the top not the bottom. Check other HR videos and instruction manual. Just trying to help a brother out. Enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work.
Definitely have your tray rack in upside down. Trays don’t go directly on orange heating pads.
I think only riding that vote Liberal should pay carbon taxes and go hunger whenTrudeau shuts the farmers fertilizer down
like the information of th harvest feeze dryer. have a great day
I love the idea of freeze drying. Just not sure it's appropriate in a subsistence AG homestead. I'm not sure I need food to last 25 years in a bag.
Hey Josh, thanks for all the great videos. Are you ever going to finish the trim on your kitchen window?
In the beginning of your video you have the tray racks installed correctly, with the orange side down. Later, however, they are upside down. Not sure what's up with that?
