The UK’s new armed drones known as SkyGuardian internationally, but renamed ‘Protector’ by the UK will begin test flights in the UK next month after the Civil Aviation Authority agreed to new airspace rules around Royal Air Force Waddington. The newer drone has further range and longer endurance, as well as being capable of carrying more weapons. The UK is replacing its fleet of ten Reaper drones with up to 26 of the new Protector drones.

future is lots of cheaper units that go up against a unit costing hundreds of millions economics say it will come out on top
Why dont we ever develop and build these things for ourselves instead of buying off the shelf from America ?
