  2. Dragon king's bride only gets worse and more boring, if i remeber correctly. The dragon is oddly really creepy in some scenes, The fl is damsel most of the time, and the story comes to halt and is just made up of "cute" moments. Brion is almost never mentioned again (atleast last time i read it).

  3. My siblings and I got along pretty well as kids, but in the same way we would get along with a friend, so none of us doted on each other like Ray does to Miss Millionaire
With the silly voices and added lines, these read-throughs remind me of abridged series, very entertaining!

  4. I was here during the stream and later on decided to read the comic… it’s soooooooo slow. This is going to be mostly spoiler free. Takes until chapter 44 for her to become 16. And I spent most of the time uncomfy about this adult woman in a child’s being flustered over children. The plot is interesting but could certainly have been condensed. And it’s very repetitive… for lack of better words. Each chapter is ā€œam I a good child? Am I capable of change?ā€ does good deed has jealous/angry thoughts ā€œno I’m inherently bad I was bad from birthā€. I was waiting for at any point for her to open up to her brother or actually tell him why he irritates her but it’s been 45 chapters and 8 years in comic there’s been minimal changes. Did I have fun reading it? Not really? I kept waiting for it to get better. To improve it I would cut out like 20 chapters. Have the time skip sooner. Have her not meet her love interest as a child.

  5. One webtoon that would be great to see you're reactions to is definitely Uriah. The story is amazing and it would be so good to see live reactions to the chapters as they fuck with your mind like crazy. HOWEVER it is full of very mature and heavy subjects that 1. would be understandable that you don't want on your channel and 2. probably would'nt get past youtubes demonetisation lol. however it is absolutely amazing and i just want to recommend it

  6. Day 1 of convincing Matty to read one of my Webtoon recommendations:

    – Distant Sky
    – Homesick (Creator is friends with the creator of School Bus Graveyard.)
    – Silent Screams
    – Hand Jumper
    – I'm the Grim Reaper

  7. Man, I wish I had seen this live. I just got to the part where you start checking out 'The Dragon's King Bride' and let me tell you, if I was here during the livestream I would be dragging this one through the mud.
I hate this comic for so many reasons, such as:

-Huge age gap between the mc and the male lead (Bro met her as a child when he was an adult at a waršŸ’€šŸ’€šŸ’€)
-Constant conflicts that are caused by miscommunication
-Constant drama and conflicts that could be easily resolved with proper communication
-Infantilization of the mc (everyone treats her like a child, she acts like one, and we're even seeing her learning to talk, read and write throughout the comic)
-Gross obssession with pregnancy (like, for most of the story, we're seeing every character saying this barely legal woman-child has to become pregnant and very likely die to be recognized as a queen. Im on episode 57 and the plot is still focused on the fact that the mc is now pregnant)
-No one has a single braincell to share with each other
-villain also has a huge age gap between her and male lead (she's older AND was married to his now deceased brother, and is now trying to get with the way younger male lead instead. They knew each other when he was a kid.)
-male lead is a ruthless warlord, but instantly falls in love with a random woman he met and acts all lovey dovey after killing her entire family šŸ˜ŠšŸ˜‡
-despite having 0 chemistry and barely spending time together, mc also falls for the male lead that KILLED EVERYONE EXCEPT HER, IN FRONT OF HER.
-have i mentioned the absolutely gross obssession this webcomic has with pregnancy? It isnt even a 'barely hidden' author's fetish anymore, its just straight in your face
-NO ONE bats an eye for all the grooming implications. Its portrayed as romantic when male lead gets married to the child that saved him, and the villain is bad for trying to get with the brother of her ex-husband, no one cares about how he was a kid as well when she was with her husband

I felt gross whenever i read comments on this webtoon and people were CHEERING for the mc to get pregnant. It is so messed up and I cannot stress this enough.

The comic goes on and on how women of the dragon tribe rarely survive pregnancy, so the ones that do become the Queen. How a pregnancy is basically a sacrifice and a slaughter, as you're almost guaranteed to die, ESPECIALLY when its a foreigner woman, as women from the dragon tribe have a higher chance of survival. If you dig enough, that could imply their whole tribe is incestuous in some way, and also that they basically take foreign women hostage and either kill them right away, or force them to become pregnant, only for them to die anyways because of the pregnancy. Just like it would've happened to the mc, if she didnt conveniently have healing powers :)))))

  8. i'm not rlly a webtoon person because the scroll format and the lack of paneling pisses me off but these streams the videos are really interesting to me because almost all webtoons have these weird tropes that i don't understand the writing choices of , not that i'm saying TTWTBGL (someone needs to teach these webtoon guys to make shorter comic titles) is bad, but there's certain stuff that baffles me in all of them lol, it's facinating.

  9. I honestly ADORE the Tyrant wants to be good! As it continues our FL basically starts understanding what she did wrong in the past rather then just believing she was bad and selfish by finally seeing the other characters for who they are as opposed to what she perceived them to be. We start seeing a break down of multiple characters and how their selfishness or in one case selflessness caused more harm then good all the while reading how the FL is going to avoid that future and the Webtoon actually reveals why she came back and it is a very well written twist. The comic is a slow burn for sure but honestly I prefer it to many other Webtoons that have characters that are poorly motivated and only exist to move plot. The characters in this webtoon all have their own wants and desires. Ethan (introduced episode 11 I think) is a character that I started out hating only to have my own perception of him changed as we actually got to ready his POV for a moment. Also if it helps Ray's doting on her is given a reason to exist in the Webtoon and its both cute and sad.

  10. On the point of sibling relationships: I like to think I have a good relationship with my younger sister. And I will say, my sister and I have different levels of physical affection, her being much more affectionate than me, so the panels of Dorothy getting annoyed by Ray hugging and cuddling with her was pretty relatable.
