As a newer subscriber it's been refreshing listening to someone who doesn't mince words and talks straight. It's needed more.
All you have to say to the haters is "sure I'll be covering more PS5 and XboxX games as soon as they release some that are worth talking about" My Switch sees far more use than my PS5 does

You generally do that the most, but nah, your not that Nintendo YouTuber entirely.
You don't get paid, but back then it was like that if you could make videos with Nintendo IPs and monetize them, which wasn't otherwise possible at the time, because Nintendo then put Content ID hits on them and then you didn't earn anything with the videos anymore could.
That was probably also a reason why some people took part in it

The only problem I have with Nintendo YouTubers is how much they jerk Nintendo off just to stay on their good side and don't call them out when they do bs you and Arlo are the only Nintendo information videos I watch

Nintendo is definitely winding the switch down at this point. Several games missing completely at the Nintendo direct.
Now only a few games being focused on for the holiday season.
Rumors of a new Nintendo switch. I would bet money we finally see a switch upgrade next year.
This is just my opinion. Check out how they did the DS when they was about to launch the 3ds. Also when they switched from the wii to the wii u.
They keep a few games in the line but compared to the last couple of years this holiday season is definitely lacking.
I am just saying it is off that subject but it would not surprise me if we finally see a switch upgrade come march or april and maybe I am 100 percent wrong.
It feels like we have some stuff to look foward to but it also feels like we are about to transition.

When Xenoblade 2 came out many Nintendo ambassadors lost their backing just purely because they gave their honest thoughts about the game which weren’t very good. There is no shortage of examples of this on YouTube if you do a simple search. That game caused a big shift. You have to say nothing negative about Nintendo if you want to stay an ambassador. It’s the reason why I avoid channels that are ambassadors. They most likely will not be truthful in their reviews.

I don't label you or Wood as Switch youtubers or Nintendo youtubers how does it benefit me to categorize things? Also you and Wood do Spawn Wave so essentially a youtuber can diversify so silly to label the person.
I would label this channel as a Nintendo centric channel since as you said it's like 80% of the content. But you also have other channels where you do retro stuff, interviews, and more so silly to call you just a Switch tuber.
I love retro video games but I say sell out and get that $$$. Definitely don't see a lot of people hunting for retro videos let alone younger gamers that want to go old school unless it's a big modern day franchise like Zelda. So you do what you got to to make the video worthy of your time to edit and make it look good.
Nintendo doesn't want your opinion cause you stay true to saying what you feel about their product. They want fools to just sucker up and say… "go buy it!!!" Str8 up. To me your channel always felt gaming everything and some haha. You touch on all topics, that's why I like your channel. And the way you deliver.
