  1. Matthew 28:19 mentions the Father, Son and holy spirit, but it does not say that they exist in one divine essence as the Trinity doctrine says. It does not say that they are three persons in one God, all co-equal, co-eternal and consubstantial. Colossians 1:15 calls Jesus the ā€œFirstborn of all creationā€ and Revelation 3:14 says that Jesus is the ā€œbeginning of the creation by God.ā€ Jesus taught that the Father was greater than he was and he called the Father "my God" even after his resurrection. (Revelation 3:12) These scriptures show that God and Jesus are not co-equal nor co-eternal.
