If any of you have been in Federal Court lately… this is how it's becoming. Especially with all the bread and circus low resolution people jeering and wanting a maximum penalty exacted on anyone before the court. Star Trek is starting to be like The Simpson… eerily similar predictions abound.
The beauty of this scene is that the test already began. It's been going on since before multi-celled organisms existed on this rock. Picard is just the latest warrior to appear
I l9ved the Q character, but like so many concepts introduced in YNG , the potential for this character was so HORRIBLY SQUANDETEF as to make the whole thing unbearable . This episode is TGE PERFECT EXAMPLE of why and how . John Delancie offers an utterly MASTERFUL performance developing tge character as presented , but a prancing, dithering self-absorbed ADOLESCENT is an utter SQUANDERING of the potential .
Its the first episode
thats why usa is great. we have innocent until proven guilty. so many countries dont
YOUR SOUL IS MINE!
It looks eeriely like an early Dr Who regeneration

Shang sung is always up to something.
Tasha's death here may have meant more.

Tasha just cannot catch a fuckin break can she
If you are considered guilty before trial, then it aint fair
Dang! Tasha got freezer burned.
Q's costume is awesome
Why did this remind me of the forth Doctor’s regeneration just after The Watcher fused with him and started turning into the fifth Doctor
What if Q is actually Trelane from classic star trek Just grown up
your soul is mine!
John Delancey played a good character.
The Q!
Such an incredible character.
Wait shang tsung works with Q
They'd never kill a main character. Duh
Damn, Denise was hot, even when she was frozen! 😂

Didn't realise shang tsung was in tng
Q is Shao Khan confirmed.
Isnt the guy with book and staff the actor who played Shang Tsung in the first MK movie?
They really had it out for Tasha.
Tasha Yar really was the Kenny of TNG, wasnt she 😂
I never liked this character! But he plays it so well!
Someone call The Sisko.
Great actors. Really great
TASHA ! ! ! ❤
Just another example of Q being awful and a hypocrite.
I never liked Tasha, was happy when she "left" and was annoyed when they kept bringing her back. She just wouldn't stay gone.
Stop fidgeting 😊
How do you deal with an impulsive reality bender?
And the trial never ends
Encounter at Farpoint. Used to have this on VHS.
Tasha was always getting trashed. She had a crappy life.
So did the Klingons and Romulans have to go through the same sort of trial…..?
Q set in motion, in this, the events that would lead to her meeting a black blob thing.
I love how Q was introduced in the pilot episode and that they kept bringing him back here and there. It really helped drive character development.
Bro got pissed and crashed a couple planes
If only Q were around when Tasha met the tar guy
