You need to research more about Liam, this is so inaccurate He deserved more honour than this type of conversation, he has a beautiful family who encouraged their sons passion, the problem lies with the music industry who work young performers to hard and give little support they need to cope.

Maybe its odd. but if that's her way of coping and facing it, she harmed no one by trying to cope with losing her child, even if it is odd, who is anyone to judge? That's one of the main things that actually causes suicide, speculation and accusations!!! If you have no proof DONT SAY IT.
Liam struggled with living, but where was his family and friends? Why didn't he just take his millions and move to a small town and disappear! He had the means to lead a different life. There are plenty of small towns in the middle of nowhere he could have a life in!

Maureen weakens this shows credibility greatly! Absolutely baseless speculation made here that has nothing to do with the subject matter. Sleeve tattoos are very common and has nothing to do with child abuse. Young men unaliving themselves in show business is unfortunately all too common as well. Michael Jackson was found innocent under a court of law, no credible claims have ever been made, and considering Lisa Marie's experience with her mother's ex-partner, do you honestly think she would ever allow her children to be put into a vulnerable position like that?
As one who tried in vain to make it in the music industry and knowing people who did reach certain levels of success, I can say that no one in the industry cares. Never has and never will. Whether musicians or actors, history is littered with fragile and emotionally crippled musicians and actors who simply get swallowed up by these industries. And these industries spit them out. Everyone is replaceable. Everyone is a product, and no one is human. All that we 'citizens' see on television is simply fantasy (w/ credit to Dennis DeYoung of Styx for the reference) and even for those lucky few who reach those scales, maintaining the image and expectations is something that barely 1% can handle That's why there are so many deaths. That's why the mental and sexual abuse remains and that's why so many continue to die with NO ONE in the industry willing to come forward. Think about it. There has never been a sustained effort in the industry to curb addictions or mental health. And this is with unions!
The best thing to never happen to me was making it in the music business. I may not have much, but I have my life and my son.

So many people here in the comments backing michael jackson. I dont get it. After watching the 'leaving neverland' documentary from 2019, there is not a doubt in my mind that he groomed and abused many children. He was a brilliant musician but that doesnt mean he didnt also have this going on in the background. I was a huge supporter of him til i saw that doc. Even oprah winfrey now agrees he was a pedophile and she was a HUGE fan and friend of MJ back in the day. The trauma and shame the men in the doc have is so hard to watch. MJ paid off and emotionally manipulted his way out of the accusations. Disgusting! Please investigate both sides before theowing out uninformed 'facts'. That aside, i agree it is irresponsible of this guest to throw out unfounded theorys about lisa maries son but michaels abuse is not unfounded.

As a survivor of child sa, I have never heard the correlation between tattoos and child sa. I am covered in tattoos. I felt compelled in my 20s to get them. Now I am sitting here rethinking why I did it. It's so weird.

This was more about outlandish theories re; MJ, Lisa-Marie & why people get tattoos than it was about Liam Payne. This should have been 100% about Liam Payne and his life. Not reciting pieces from Lisa-Marie’s Memoir (and being judgemental AF on her right to grieve for her son in whatever way she wishes. Lose a child and then come back and talk about it).
The episode went way off track and has opened a can of worms of theories and rumours. And my final point is that there is no confirmation (that I’m aware of) that Liam’s offical cause of death has been ruled a suicide. At this point, he very well could have fallen by accident, making this entire discussion just fairy dust. Do correct me if I’m wrong though (on whether a final autopsy/COD has been released).
