Jeez those poor guys, no one can account for MS, and strokes etc.. health issues are always a fear for anyone but the weight of letting the band down cos you're too sick to play, it's tragic. Up the Irons! God bless Maiden!
What a bunch of crap. Go watch a real documentary on them. Certainly some sad individual stories but it’s not a tragic band for God sakes. Oh and founder and lead songwriter Steve Harris plays bass, not guitar. They have been around for almost 50 years and it’s been a long triumphant run. Maiden Forever !

I attended a KISS concert in October 1980 (Copenhagen) where the support act was Iron Maiden (Di'anno).
They are old. They are rich.they made their deal. Soon, the bill will be due.

I was at the Donnington 1988 show. I was at the front all day. The fans were killed during Guns ‘n Roses. They were pulled out of the crowd later during David Lee Roth. GNR did not perform just before Iron Maiden. They performed hours before.
Bayley's vocals just didn't fit Maiden's style. I did like 2am and Heart of Darkness.

Grunge just loves to be a Tragedy Vampire channel. People get older and throughout everyone’s life there are good things and bad things… so things might even be tragic.. But you people need to stop seeing growing old and dying when old as being a tragedy. These various videos which use the same title are stupid. You could literally just call this one an 11 minute video about the quick history of Iron Maiden. Although it’s amazing how many facts you’ve got wrong. But back to the title of a tragedy that gets sadder and sadder. I’ve got news for you… To quote Jim Morrison, “no one here gets out alive”… which means that we all die. It’s a built in feature to humans. So it isnt a tragedy in general (unless you die young or get murdered, etc). Everything ends at some point. Dont be afraid of death… It’s part of life. Lastly… Can you folks get your facts together whether it’s about Iron Maiden or most anyone you do these videos about. Facts aren’t hard to find about famous people/ bands/ etc.

I loved Blaze in Maiden, I think Virtual was one of their best.
I just feel that his register was just too low to compete with what Bruce could do.
Also, the production on X factor was trash.

Sorry but this is pure milking of a popular band for nothing. None of this is a tragedy (as far as the band is concerned), Burr died a decades after he was not in the band, 2 fans died at a gnr concert and everything else is the natural development of a band, members come and go, that's rock ‘n roll.

Bullsh*t, this band has a tremendous history of excellent music. There's no tragedy, Bruce has a commercial pilot's license and has flown passenger jets. They even own their own 747 which Bruce pilots. The reason they're still alive is no major drug issues and a commitment to work. Good for them.

I knew of and heard some pre Dickinson Iron Maiden. But when I bought the tickets for the scorpions Blackout tour I saw that Maiden was opening, so I went out and bought a promo copy of Number. Too many times I saw an opening act and wasn't familiar with their work. But Maiden's first trip to America was great. I saw them twice in 3 days. And though it is hard to say which of my 4 Scorpion shows were the best the Blackout tour kicked ass. The 2nd of the two times I saw Maiden w/the Scorps I was doing shrooms. while I started to peak the full moon rose over the end of the pavilion where we were sitting and they started Hallowed be The Name. Excellent memory.
