*Why did you become a writer?* Both my parents were award-winning journalists at the Long Beach Press Telegram and the Los Angeles Times. I broke my first statewide story in 10th grade and went on to earn a degree in English. It was pretty much inevitable I would end up a writer.
*How long have you been publishing online?* I launched my first site in 1995 and started selling software from my own online store the same year.
*What’s Gamelit?* : Gamelit is a new recently developed genre of literature where a portion of the story involves characters playing a video game or where the plot takes place inside a video game.

I also sat with my little friends Saturday evenings watching Star Trek eps through the mid 70s. We would be playing outside before and after. Some of my earliest memories are of just walking along and turning life into Trek stories.
I was a science fiction fan before The Original Series. I have described Trek to people as Weak SF.
Deep Space Nine is the best Trek because it was stolen from Babylon 5.
Yeah, Trek was an expression of White Guy utopian delusion.
James T Kirk was The Lone Ranger with a libido and Spock was Tonto.
I believe 'Star Trek Continues' faithfully continues the original series into 10 new episodes.
Even in the utopian society of the Federation there still exists hierarches in the form of the chain of command. The rule of law is paramount in carrying out a successful mission and keeping people alive.
