Cannot WAIT for pt 2.. absolutely loved this!
Great video! Love this channel
Wait… Was the tornado in the Wizard of Oz a satellite to a massive rain wrapped wedge?
I grew up in one of the areas affected by the 2011 tornados, it was absolutely terrifying bc we didn’t know if it was going to hit us or miss. blessed be james spann lol
edit just to add that yes, you can hear the tornados. if they’re coming up the river you can hear them on the water before you see them, but by the time you see them it’s probably too late
😀
pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I am BEGGINGGGG for part 2!!!! I love love love videos like this, when i saw this vid on my home page i audibly gasped bc this is like the perfect content everrrr, tornados and ice bergs videos????? my 2 fav things to watch combined!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH edit: sorry if this sounded rushy, its not meant to be i just had to share how much i luv this type of content
Awesome video. Thanks
lemme tell ya as someone living the the midwest — Tornado Alley's GOTTA be moving east bc through out my ENTIRE LIFE I've been told that we live in Tornado Alley, only to be told by the tornado fandom that I'm totally wrong. Could it be because everyone in southern Illinois is a bit stupid including me? possibly, I did once see a man flying the Union Jack believing it was a Confederate flag. What a strange place.
We may never know the name of the person who took the McConnell AFB footage. However, there is another video from the same location that pans to the right and shows a group of people standing on a stairwell or balcony, approximately where the footage would have been taken. The videographer could be one of those people.
just realised weather was a coping mechanism after stuff happened relating to trauma recently and tornadoes and weather have made it feel better 🫶🫶 especially your channel, you saved me from suicide thank you.
One of the best YouTubers out there, and I’m glad you’re starting to gain some attraction! Keep it up and you’ll do some great things
I was trapped in my semi when they pushed one of those "particularly dangerous tornado" alert things over the phone. Once I limped up Missouri to a rest area with a shelter I told me company they could kiss my ass, my life wasn't worth a load of macaroni and cheese lol
Where did you get that shirt?
tornado iceberg is all i needed
I’m so happy Indiana got its own little spot haha.
Indiana resident here. Your second pronunciation of Hoosier was correct. Nobody knows what it really means; there are just a lot of theories.
The craziest thing that I learned recently is that the underpass footage happened like a couple hours after the McConnell Air Force Base footage. It was the same outbreak. I never knew that lol
Oh to be a cow being spun around for cinematic value
Two small suggestions for the ETI:
-Fargo 1957
-Wood vs. concrete
Very well done video, can’t wait for part two!
James Spann? James Spann!
Great video as always! The subject of nocturnal tornados hits home for me as a Chattanooga TN resident. The 2020 EF3 that went through the East Brainerd and Collegedale area, which is East of downtown Chattanooga, has three notable variables that I think are important. First, it was nocturnal. Second, the event occurred during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. Third, tornado sirens do not exist in this area because warning sirens are solely used in the event of failure in the nuclear power plant that is approx. 13 miles away.
are you going to include the video Clem Shults shot of
the Fairdale, IL EF4 in the next one? I was expecting to see that in the tornados sound like freight trains one.
Loving the Titanic shirt
And here you are already at 60k
whaat 60K subs? congrats! and i thought i was the only one who loves learning about tornados😂 im still scared of them though
12:40 for example, very rare F4 tornado happened in czech republic in 2021, 200 injured people and 6 deaths. it was the first confirmed violent tornado in europe since 2017, when an F4 tornado struck a village in russia. it was soo close to me! scary, scary…
i've been watching all your videos since i found your channel a while ago 🙂 it's really fun seeing your channel grow! keep up the awesome content!
2 billion year old continent. 100 years of reliable tornado documentation. I think it’s hard to say the alley is moving east. Maybe it’s just a normal 1000 year cycle.
