  1. I hate to be negative but this map (yet again) feels generic and uninteresting, lacking depth. The same can be said about COD zombies in general since BO4 tbh. I just miss old zombies 🙁

  2. I think this map suffers from the same issue as Liberty Falls in the sense that it’s clearly a more casual, bonus map. This map feels like an epilogue to Citadelle Des Morts instead of a whole new experience that progresses the story. They need to be more transparent with that and they should have clearly said that this was a more casual experience or an interlude before the next big map. However, since the next map is going back to Liberty and will be set in a mansion, I have a fear that dlc 3 is going to be anticlimactic. I hope I’m wrong.

  3. We have 6 seasons if I’m not mistaken and I’m assuming it’ll go advanced, simple, advanced, simple for the next 4 seasons. For a simple map it’s fine, my only issues are the lack of explosive weapons on the map, lack of vulture aid till 25, boss won’t take explosive damage. Those just come off as changes to make us grind for gums in my mind

  4. I’m glad he called out the origins fan service because the staff is just there with no story about why or how.

I also don’t like the re-used bosses, but my biggest issue honestly (and same with Liberty Falls and Citadelle) is how linear the maps are. Maybe it’s a small thing to complain about, but I just don’t get why those three maps are two paths that meet at some point with no/little variation in the middle.

Pretty much every map starts with two paths from spawn, but they have unique layouts. Shadows has three different branches to explore, DE has a nice flow with connecting paths through the middle and the different layers of the map, even back in WAW Shi no Numa had four different branches from the central point.

It’s just weird how these BO6 maps are literally two straight paths that meet and that’s it (with fast travels). No branching paths, secret areas, out-of-the-way rooms with a purpose.

  5. Yeah I agree with your point about origins fan service. I genuinely don’t see why the ice staff needed to be in this map, getting it on origins felt like a fantastic treacherous journey with a fantastic reward, but this map just says look remember that thing you like it? We brought it back for no reason lol

  6. Milo had a theory that the reason why we didn't get a intro cutscene is because of the VA strikes and the more I think of it the more it makes sense. nvm you mentioned this in the vid lol

  7. look at the sky and the background in the aether area and that should show you how rushed it was you can’t say otherwise cuz why’s it so pixilated that it makes backgrounds from zombies maps over 5 years ago like revelation look never than the tomb with its pixilated rocks in the sky like someone stole the background off someone’s windows 10 wallpaper

  8. I think it's overall really good. The main EE and boss fight are lackluster but it's not that bad. I love the map layout and aesthetics are amazing. There's tons of open spaces to train and lots of cool areas to run around. The boss zombies are annoying but it doesn't make or break a map for me.
