  1. I think few people have more insight to the game than Tom, and he is a well spoken guy so I think he'll do fine. That said $37.5 million per year seems ridiculous. Maybe for the first year or two the novelty will have people tuning in, but after that he'll be just another color guy in the booth who knows the game. It will be interesting to get him talking about the game when he isn't concerned about giving away trade secrets.

  2. I don't know why everybody keeps acting so surprised and making a big deal out of what he's getting paid! He's arguably the greatest athlete of all time besides Bo Jackson deion Sanders and Michael Jordan and it's funny, people act like he's some baloney sandwich who's supposed to get paid peanuts, this guy holds records that will never be broken and he's Tom brady! He's been taking hits for 22 years I think he deserves it! A lot of guys have retired early because of concussions like Andrew luck and many more but he deserves it

  3. First off you're inaccurate and I'm going to tell you why, for any player to think they're going to retire early and get paid more in broadcasting is false, for one, they're not Tom brady! No one will ever be Tom Brady,

  4. I wish people would find something more important to talk about, and more relevant than what Tom Brady is getting paid as a broadcaster, I wish everybody would shut the hell up and talk about something important, the guy will probably win another super bowl this year and people want to harp on what he gets paid to broadcast? He's going to be very fun in the booth and what people don't realize about Tom Brady that they are seeing now that they didn't see in New England is that Tom Brady is a very charismatic guy, he's full of class and very professional and probably the smartest player ever, not only is the quarterback position the most important chess piece on the board but I think what he has accomplished has proven that he is one of the smartest players ever and to have him in the booth would be awesome to listen to,

  5. Why does Fox and all of these networks have this kind of money to pay people to talk about nothing important, and yet I have to pay $150 a month just to watch it? I don't think so. I haven't had cable tv in 23 years and will never pay these networks a cent.

  6. Lmao. Who is going to make more than Tom Brady? The rate isn't going to go higher than Brady. If you don't think the greatest qb in history isn't going to be interesting to listen to during a game then you are kidding yourself. He has more passion for it than anyone. The question really is, How long before he is considered the greatest commentator of all time?

  7. Yea but theres thousands of NFL players and only a couple, if that, of open braodcasting position available on any given network each year. And only a fraction of NFL players have aspirations and/or ability to do broadcasting.

  8. Devote your life to playing the game, take two mediocre NFL franchises to 10 Superbowls and win 7 of them, gather 5 SB MVP awards, and hold many NFL records and you too can get a 375M deal for 10 years. As for your concerns about players leaving the sport to go into the booth is ridiculous. First off he's been playing for over twenty years, so he's not leaving early. Second, there's no other player in NFL history or present-day close to what Brady has accomplished. I can't see anybody ever coming close. Third, the Raiders SUCK! GO NINERS!

  9. I’m a raider fan and hated Tom Brady ever since the “tuck rule”….but the dude is the 🐐. Get your hands out of his pockets people. He’s doing what’s best for him and getting paid!

  10. Has to be one of the worst takes I’ve seen on YouTube. The dude is 44… He’s not leaving the game early. High NFL viewing also helps the players leverage their contracts. Bad bad bad take.

  11. The top announcers have been underpaid for years, the owner’s are raking in the cash and capping how much the players can make. On top of that they get the public to pay for new stadiums. But don’t kid yourself, very few players make it as announcers, fewer are good at it, and they tend to hold on to the positions for years. You’re so far off, it’s barely worth giving it any thought

  12. He's only getting this money because of his entire body of work, so your point is moot.. Also, elite athletes at the top of there game aren't going to think about leaving in general

  13. I'm still waiting… I'm still waiting…. Waiting for your point. Don't worry, I'll never get back the time wasted on your idiocy.

Thanks. You're the best psychic and economist regarding NFL Commentary, NFL Players—their monetary decisions. 😂😂😂

  14. Terrible take lol. If the NFL is worried about it’s players leaving because the networks are paying more than they can decide to pay the players more. Great news for the players. Give them more and more leverage. They deserve it
