  1. I am glad that Tesla Semi will finally hit the streets, but I am more anxious to see the Cybertruck release. I put the deposit for mine in 2019 (when it was announced) and really hope it will be coming next year!

  2. So… a delivery event… in which they basically say they are going to keep the trucks for themselves at first instead to deliver them to customers who made a down payment 5 years ago.

  4. I'm sorry but you're calling it the most capable on the market before reviews are actually put in by drivers of the truck that is way too harmful you're going off of a pathological liars word That shows a lack of intelligence on your part and people who listens to you shows even less intelligence

  5. You're basing this off the genius who created bulletproof glass that could be shattered with a baseball Good for you!! You showed an even greater lack of intelligence than a turkey

  6. I still don’t understand why they didn’t place battery at trailer. There are some many parked trailers that could be recharging while standing and truck could just pickup the charged ones and continue.

  7. The clutch is odd to me. One of the advantages of an induction motor is that they lack permanent magnets, and therefore spin freely when unpowered. Are the twin motors the permanent magnet/reluctance hybrid motors used by the Model 3?

  8. If you have 200 BEV vehicles… stranded in a mountain pass because they got snowed in… and you managed to get all the people out but they drained their batteries running their heaters to keep warm. Explain to me how you manage to get 200 dead BEV vehicles jammed together in a pack… moving and able to drive away again compared to hydrogen fuel cell vehicles or fossil fuel vehicles? Fool BEV cells… and their CEO is a fool Republican opportunist insurrectionist to boot.

  9. I’m confused about one thing. You said the clutches disengage the motor from the axle automatically. But then say when going down hill it has regenerative braking with motor resistance. How does it do both? Is there a button for downgrades that overrides the disengagement clutch?

  10. 1:45 is a brushed DC motor not an induction motor. Induction motors also called brushless dc motors, don’t have brushes connected to the rotor but the electromagnetic field is present in the rotor due to a rotating magnetic field formed by applying 3 phase to the stator. The rotating field cuts the rotor and induces a current in it, thus turning it into a magnet and allowing it to rotate. That’s the simple way to put it without diving into too complex details.

  11. I feel like a lot of people are really uninformed on how clean epa compliant diesel engines are these days. We have trucks on the road with 8-12 liter engines outputting less emissions than some pickup trucks. for instance the Co2 output limit as required by the epa for all 2016 model year spark ignition vehicles was 627g/hp-hr while the maximum output for light duty diesels that same year was only 600 g/hp-hr, and for heavy duty diesel tractors it was only 475! and it has only gotten more strict since then especially for diesels. there are so many emissions related systems on diesels these days nobody even has a clue about, like egr system and scr working to reduce Nox emissions or the dpf stopping all the black sooty smoke that gives diesel such a bad reputation in the first place. Not to mention diesel tractors can be refueled faster still and are better suited for more hostile environments. like can you really imagine this tesla semi pulling a load of iron ore up a dirt road out of a mining operation? But I do have to admit that starting its on road presence in the food delivery industry is a good idea, since the loads are lower priority and road conditions near the supplier and store likely wont be too bad it wont be as catastrophic if something overlooked goes wrong, but keep in mind they are still going to be pulling refrigerated trailers which run off a diesel engine. I also don't know how I feel about the wheel hub clutches, if those fail the driver will only have air brakes to rely on, which can overheat under load like what the video said. so basically if the electric motors fail to reconnect to assist with braking you will have a runaway truck. But if they are a success than you will definitely catch me working on them in the future if the pay is good!

  12. Cool💯💯. I love watching your videos… I actually plan on taking out at most, $200k from my ¢rypto investment to get something super cool and efficient but I'm afraid of making the wrong pick 🤦‍♂🤦‍♂
