  1. I've been to zion its pretty, its easy to get to the hiking trails because there is a tram system and no cars are allowed on the tram roads. there are a lot of easy hikes and some harder coolier ones. i did some of the easy hikes and some of the harder ones, on one I walked through a slot canyon

  2. Joshua Graham is my personal favorite character in New Vegas. I'm not a religious person, but he really does convince me of a man of good faith who pretty much fell, then through the pain brought on by his own admitted hubris and loss of his ways, rose up from Hell back into the light.

And Keith Szarabajka's performance has cemented him in my head. Sure most would probably remember him as "the guy who voiced the dunmer in Skyrim", but the dude has a pretty extensive list of acting credits. Plus his voice is immediately recognizable. He's up there with the likes of other distinct voice performances like Keith David.

  3. If fallout taught me anything it's that there will always be pissed off mormons to sort shit out if you need em

Science without morals is awful but it damn sure is neat

And greed will usually lead to your demise unless you have high sneak and a strong back

  4. Ouf, for some reason, I jsut got struck by thoughts about the possible endings to honest hearts and non of them being good. Everyone got fucked one way or the other. Surprisingly grimdark, even for Fallout. Ouf, indeed.

  5. It might just be me but Joshua Graham's story mirrors Jesus Christ's alot.

    1. He is betrayed and killed by Roman esque military.

    2. He crawls out of a dark rocky place being "reborn" and "cleansed" of sins.

    3. He spends 3 day's/months out in the dessert seeking "home".

    4. He returns after 3 decade's where he is welcomed and basically worshipped to an extent.

    5. Joshua is the modern English version of Yeshua which is "Jesus". Also "Graham" in the Bible means "Grand Homestead" which probably is a hint at how Joshua's story is finding a purpose and in doing so finding a "home".

Could be something idk I'm dumb. If anyone else finds mirrors in his story let me know.

  6. I'm really flummoxed by all the Christian admiration for Graham in these comments. He committed atrocities using the "just following orders" excuse (hmm, who does that remind you of?), then went on a revenge rampage instead of seeking peace. What part of the bible was it where JC whips out his Colt and guns down the Romans? No, Jesus suffered and still forgave those who wronged him. Graham has twisted his religion to suit his own agenda by trying to justify his revenge and violence as being God's will. There's nothing "Christian" about the guy other than the scripture he reads. I'm fairly sure the writers made the folly of his character quite deliberate, yet people are saying he's great Christian?! Come on.

  7. I could see Joshua as an more of an Orthodox Christian than a Mormon, though I’m sure if he had heard about the faith let alone knowing of its existence, he would have converted, ā€œnot expecting God to do all the workā€ was pretty much one of the Russian army’s core ideas when fighting the bolsheviks. Given the setting and region it would be pretty hard for that information to reach Utah post-war.
