I live in Birmingham that storm was no damn joke.
The tornado was like "This isn't my final form!"
I hate tornados that form at night. When you live in the country it’s hard to be able to take cover
That’s where I live Tuscaloosa Alabama and I was 11 years old living in Sipsey Valley up in Buhl Alabama
I watched it tear up my small town Cordova
I'm from T-town. This hit a couple miles from my house. It's years later and, while we are looking a lot better, we are still rebuilding. Literally everyone still walks in eggshells whenever it starts raining
https://youtu.be/H4u63DZRY2I this is a song that two friends of my kids did about that storm. I live in Centreville and they also sang it at a fundraiser for the storm victims. There were many bad tornados that day. The song is "Rage Against the Wind"
Well written, well presented, well done.
A guy all worried about the stadium when its ripping homes apart.
Why can't we get these here in NY!
I watch lots of these tornado videos because I've been interested in this stuff. But it's sobering to watch these when they hit close to home. I live in Louisville, and yesterday was the one-year anniversary of the tornado that destroyed Mayfield, KY. I had friends that went down there to help with the cleanup. That tornado almost made it to Louisville.
What date this happens?
Beautifully composed and documented piece of history. The outstanding feature of this video is that necessary details are added in the background, in a smooth and relaxed voice. Most of such compilations available online lack relevant background details and the element of 'shock & awe' is preferred over content.
why do americans build a house in the path of a storm. again ,again again.
I was 14 almost 15 when it happened. I was living at my grandmother’s house during that time in Clanton, Alabama. I watched that storm unfold on tv in real time!
I was living just outside of Mobile at the time. We had a couple of Warnings, but we're spared getting hit. What happened in Tuscaloosa was unbelievable.
11 years later and this outbreak is still so memorable and destructive
I remember watching WGN in Chicago with Tom Skilling and he was talking about this tornado. It was so amazing to see how big the tornado was and how sad it was seeing how much destruction it caused.
Bombsquad!!!!!! Deontae Wilder home!!
i was in a tornado once, it sucked
