The Terracotta Army is a collection of thousands of life-size terracotta statues of soldiers, horses, and chariots that were buried with the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang, more than 2000 years ago. This vast underground army was discovered by farmers in 1974 and has been restored to provide an insight into the history of China.
