In this marathon, we explore chilling cases where everyday situations turn deadly.
00:00:00 Drawing Conclusions
Thomas Donahue thought it was just a walk in the woods with friends, but someone had other plans that night. Far away in Texas, Jennifer Weiniger, a free spirit who loved adventure, got into a red truck with a man she barely knew. Both encounters seemed ordinary—until secrets, betrayal, and dark intentions turned them into something far more sinister.
00:50:54 Stranger Than Fiction
George Russell was convicted of three murders, using charm and shock tactics to manipulate his victims.
Michael Fletcher was found guilty of murdering his pregnant wife, Leanne, staging it as an accident to hide his affair with a judge. Forensic evidence in both cases was crucial in securing justice.
01:40:24 Predators And Parasites
Linda Howell claimed she last saw her husband, Vito, alive on August 6th, but insect evidence showed he died on August 4th, after a fight with her. She was charged with murder and sentenced to 25 years. In a separate case, Michael Rubinstein found his stepson, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter dead, with initial suspicions of a gas leak. However, insect evidence revealed they died in mid-November, when Michael had been at the scene.

Anyone can go to the FBI files channel to see these, you don't even have your own content yet you get almost 2 million followers. Low is my faith in humanity.

23:12 Why did he use a polaroid camera since he then intended to scan the photos?
For this time period, wouldn't camera film exposed onto larger photographic paper (as large as the scanner) produce results with a significantly higher resolution?
P.S. After some research I found out that some types of film used could take 2 weeks to be developed, so the polaroid method was definitely faster. With that said, I think that it would've been worth photographing the body, glasses and hat with both film and polaroid. The polaroid would give detectives the quick, but lower resolution results while they waited for the higher resolution photographs to be developed and processed into a more recognizable image.
35:19 Is that part of a transmission cover on the left? Part of the clutch/torque-converter cover side?
