2:44 Because they show on both sides of the texture. So Both sides of the wall. This is why its a PITA to use them. You aim at the wall and someone on the other side sees exactly where you are pointing.

2:10 yeah the laser on ur screen is in a diff spot than on other player's. playing on teams of 2+ we noticed that, when someone was holding their laser near a corner, it was really in a different spot. A lot of the times aiming past the corner and giving the position away. best to run IR light or aim about a foot away from the corner with lasers.

Me and my friend tested this, but lasers dont match locations from two perspectives. It can be meters in difference sometimes. Not sure if it's totally client side

Yup, @LVNDMARK all light (lasers and flashlights) sources from guns will show through on the other side of a floor or wall, just not necessarily give away your exact position, as they are inaccurately rendered for the other player.
Vertical audio maybe
If you're downstairs the audio is zero for people upstairs when on the actual stairs themselves if that makes sense.
