  1. I appreciate the connections and reasoning but it feels you’re also neglecting basic reality (or literalism) of all these global stories and the possibilities of a very different ecosystem existing in the ancient past.

  2. I like your stuff. I've been thinking about Giants since I read 1st Enoch 40 years ago at age twelve though, and I know it's not merely symbolism, although symbolism is involved in every aspect of what we are. I enjoy both this podcaste and Lord of Spirits.

  3. Would love your take on the connection between this pattern and that of clowns. A guy on YT has pretty in depth analysis of their relationship, and it would seem to connect to things you've said about clowns in the past.

  4. The golden goose
Jacks bean was invested in mother earth by accident in his foolish immaturity and in that act is the birth of desire for the golden goose because tragedy rubs even the top.
We aren't meant to be Jack or the giant.

  5. I think your depiction of the greek myths is improper, with all due respect.

As I understand it, uranos and gaia (sky and earth) bore all the titans. This could be seen as an analogy to the spirit and water from genesis, but a more morally ambiguous account.

The titans are widely considered monsters, or wild forces like sea serpents, or saturn, who later became the judaised into satan.

The greek gods were condemned by the titans in an analogous way that the jews were being used as chattle by the egyptians. Therefore their rebellion was entirely justified in the context of their myth. Of course, this makes the logical leap that not being exploited is better than exploitation, which I'm fine with.

Also as a side note, the gods weren't the side effects of the castration of saturn, who is also chronos. They were the children of zeus, who was known as Ios in latin or jupiter, anglicized into dios pater.

I'm also unsure what the "proper" union of spirit and earth is defined as. Kind of important for the purposes of judgement, I think.

Also, wondering what you think about the creative powers of the norse jotuns, and the tale of skrymir and utgarde loki.

Interesting video, engaging as always 😁

  6. I watch all your videos with interest and I have read your brother's book but I have to say this Giant stuff is just too much of a reach. Most of the symbolism you normally describe has an elegance to it that tells us something deeper about our place in the world however the giant stuff seems to be less elegant than just the facts you say they symbolise. Why tell a tale about giants when you could just say that a great man with bad intentions will cause harm? Or that new things are indeed built out of old things? I can't see how tales involving giants in this way would be a useful source of life lessons – the meanings are way too obscure for that purpose.

  7. The unequal yoke as an element of perversion of the people was always a biblical story in the old testament, on the return from Babylonian captivity the book of ESDRAS And the prophet Malachi returns to face this relationship indicating that the purification of the people involves getting rid of these marriages with foreigners from other nations who have other moral values and gods.

  8. This is why I'm wary of movements, since they have a tendency to become their own thing concerned with perpetuating themselves rather than continue to follow their telos to its end.

I know a Floridian who once spoke of the "Save the Manatee" movement in his state. It popped up in the 70s and led the charge to do what it intended to do, and by the late 90s/2000s it had succeeded. Legislation and other acts had protected the manatees and they were finally declared safe.

And the "Save the Manatee" people refused to believe it.

They declared that there was a conspiracy between scientists and fish and game to hide the fact that manatees were still under threat and refused to accept their data. They continued on with what they were doing.

But when you think of it, why wouldn't they? If the manatees were saved, the thing they'd worked towards for decades would be over. People's whole careers would be obsolete. The movement would have no reason to keep living and would die, so it refused to.

  9. "The Giant's Drink was used as a psycho-analysis tool, and it often had damaging effects on the students. It was common for a student to have suicidal thoughts if they dwelt on the seemingly impossible game; however, Pinual was the only student to kill himself after trying to beat the level. In the game, there was a giant who asked the player to drink from one of the two cups in front of him. He said that if they won, he would take them to Fairyland. Normally, no one could get past this part, as both drinks would kill the player. However, instead of choosing between the two drinks, Ender Wiggin killed the giant by having his character burrow into the giant's eye. As the giant's corpse fell to the ground, Ender's character found himself in the very same Fairyland that the giant had promised him." Ender's Game Wiki, Mind Game

  10. The discussion around the concept of time and the dead ancient ones brought to mind 'The Martian Chronicles' and building on the bones of an ancient civilization…and with the development of AI are we creating the 'Colossus' who will rule over us…

  11. Great video, just missing the logical devolution that informs our reality. The fall of the family, the uncomfortable truth of generational abuse. Fathers removed from the home by the mothers embrace of feminism with the children damaged through dereliction of duty. The modern family symbolised by the Kali Yuga with the cycles spinning the wheel.

  12. Reminds me of the legend of Atlantis, something above coming down to mingle with something below. In the legend the god Poseidon is attracted to a female women, and he begets children with her, the first child being Atlas, the first king of Atlas, and from his line descend the Atlantean kings, and slowly these hybrid race of beings begin to degenerate and wage war and bloodshed upon the Earth and are destroyed in a flood.

  13. Questioner: When did Yahweh act to perform the genetic changes that Yahweh performed?

Ra: I am Ra. The Yahweh group worked with those of the planet you call Mars seven five, seventy-five thousand [75,000] years ago in what you would call the cloning process. There are differences, but they lie in the future of your time/space continuum and we cannot break the free will Law of Confusion.

The two six oh oh [2,600], approximately, time was the second time— we correct ourselves— three six oh oh [3,600], approximately, the time of attempts by those of the Orion group during this cultural complex; this was a series of encounters in which the ones called Anak were impregnated with the new genetic coding by your physical complex means so that the organisms would be larger and stronger.

Questioner: Why did they want larger and stronger organisms?

Ra: The ones of Yahweh were attempting to create an understanding of the Law of One by creating mind/body complexes capable of grasping the Law of One. The experiment was a decided failure from the view of the desired distortions due to the fact that rather than assimilating the Law of One, it was a great temptation to consider the so-called social complex or subcomplex as elite or different and better than other-selves, this one of the techniques of service to self.
