D. Sivanandan is one of India’s most well-known and highly regarded IPS officers with an illustrious career spanning over 35 years, retired Director General of Police Maharashtra and Former Police Commissioner of Mumbai.
He is credited with ridding the city of Mumbai of the menace of the Underworld in the early 90s and for planning the security of the city of Mumbai after the 24/11 Terror attacks. He speaks to me about his life, career, and experience

After you left I stopped watching it, intact, as long as you were there I watched only your programme; nothing else from Times Group. Good luck and please keep it up. He is a crook himself. After retirement it is good to advice and spend time in preaching without practicing. It is fantastic to live in a 7crore flat after retirement. His blue eyedboy Daya Nayak knows everything about this so called non corrupt officer.
If not for Mr Submarniam,the former Chief Secretary, Shivanandan would never be appointed as Commissioner of Mumbai.
