Man, it was someone that lived there if there were no tracks going there, and the motorcycles weren't taken but the keys were, so they couldn't escape, because the killer probably wanted to keep 1 of them alive, and that is why his shoes were found away from them. It was probably the neighbor that told the guy who "admitted it" to go drown himself…. he killed that guy and made it look like a suicide and then said ya it was that dead guy for sure…. that is my opinion. Crazy sh*t

If the three other teens were murdered how did anyone know the details leading up to it? Like the nasty kiosk woman or how happy the birthday girl was feeling? Where would that part of the story come from??? I guess you can't say it on the Internet if it isn't true…..

You can't beat yourself to the point you're face is unrecognizable and you're unconscious to the point a group of experienced police officers are 100% convinced you dead. Based on the scean. Big Foot. I wonder if theres other sightings of record. Never go into the woods, without a gun.

The main point of this story is that Finland had/has a really crappy police force.

Better help is a scam. Makes me wonder if Mr. Ballen is a scam too? He has to know all of the issues with better help now. Do NOT get their services. They have sold their users data and the horror stories from users far outweigh the good ones.

As for this story, I just knew the kiosk woman would be involved somehow! I think she at least tried to save the kids by warning them away! She knew her husband's proclivities, but was likely abused herself & couldn't do more for fear of her own life, or her children, if she had any! I wish she had been strong enough to turn him in before this, & I can't condone her lack of action beyond her telling the girls to leave, but as one who endured spousal abuse for way too long, I can understand. I am very disheartened that Nils was prosecuted, but happy he was found not guilty! Just imagine living through that horror, then being blamed for it!
Never really understood the psychology of muderers who are parents. How can you not see that these kids are literally just as loved by a parent like you… just doesn’t make any sense

I’m actually going to speak up; Better Help pushed me further into depression and suicidal thoughts!! I reached out to them and was assigned a therapist only to have her tell me she can’t treat me because we live in different states! AND THAT I NEEDED TO GO INTO MY SETTINGS TO ADJUST THINGS. WHAT, the actual FUCK!?!

I've been to lake Bodom so many times, I always sit where the tent was back then and close my eyes and listen and imagine what they felt. Unfortunately there's an ugly park now close to it so it's not that "creepy" or beautiful anymore. But it's still interesting to be there and feel what they felt. Also, I know it's dumb, but i believe Hans Assmann (yes,a funny name), the serial killer who was a suspect in this murder and other famous murders, is actually my grandfather hahaha and I'm convinced I know he did this 😂
