Every single day and night I always argue with my gf about why don't a stop light or a traffic police don't at that GC Crossing working because it's a dangerous crossing 😢 rip Brittany Hunter hope the media and Government feel our pain 😢and do the necessary things before we loose more life we have too many officers for not 2 police can't be at the crossing at GC crossing
I think she probably saw the truck but she thought she had time to cross since the bus was blocking the truck but she calculated wrong. This gives me even more anxiety. Condolences to her family.

The truck man a wicked. Him should have start apply brakes from him see the taxi a come out, long time. Given that it’s a truck it need room to stop. Once the bus come up, him should have been to a crawl. What of the bus did stall?. Me a drive professionally for over 20 years. No way you see how busy that side road is and you still a come so hard. Him should have slow down from way up the road. That a negligent homicide. Look like she saw the truck a come, and like me think because of the bus it would’ve slowed enough so she could cross. I'm 76yrs old and have to cross the Ocho Rios roads .l make sure to keep my phone in my bag and even when a driver becon for me to cross i still look up and down then i go quickly
Very sad and unfortunately. It appears to have resulted from at least one person's indiscretion, which gave a mis-signal to the young lady. However she may not have been sufficiently aware of her surroundings. Did the bus drive out in the way of the druck, and had to make a quick get away. It would have been best, if the truck driver had stopped since he could not see what was on the other side of the coaster.

Not the driver fault..I think she a use the unruly bus driver ..who run a big risk by trying to beat the truck as a guide to cross..if the bus didn't drive out I think she would have cross the road
