  11. Knox really knows what his talking about with the film industries economics. They are scared the sleeping dragon is waking up. I know as Christians we usually use dragon in the bad sense. Perhaps I should have said they poked the Bear, but you get what I'm saying.

  12. I disagree with the idea that the cell phone and social media is the new resume.

    This may be true in the urban centers, but let me tell you, out here in Appalachia, where cell service is few and far between, that's not the case. Nor is it in most of rural (not exurbs) America.

    I still have a flip phone and I'm in my twenties. My neighbors and I all talk to each other in person and sit on our front porches waving at neighbors. And resumes aren't what count, what counts is relationships with your peers who can get you a new job.

    I imagine things are different in the major U.S cities (greater than 10k population), but in rural America, which covers something like 80% of the U.S, this is not the case. We didn't even have cell service until about 4 years ago.

    Also, I will 2nd the vote for CanonPlus. That is a great app. Can't recommend it enough.

  14. Great program!!! I am personally inspired and encouraged to take what the Lord has blessed me with to glorify Him and to give to others. I am a 63 year-old wife and mother of an adult child. At the moment I don't have grandchildren (may the Lord bless us with many) and I just recently enrolled in a program to become a master knitter! Yes! a hand knitter. With my abilities I plan to offer it all up to the Lord and to be used for His kingdom! The Lord is Lord of all the blessings He gives us including what we call hobbies. I see myself knitting and gifting to my loved ones and my future grandchildren as well as blessing babies/kids who can use a hand knitted warm and useful item of clothing.
    In this world we win! We must use all He puts at our disposal to shower this world with God's abundance! He gave me abilities/hobbies and that's what I will offer up to Him!

  17. I would say sponsorships should be extremely careful in relation to possible channel success long term and several other factors I am certainly not outright opposed to sponsorships. I have enjoyed this very much conservative Presbyterians can be more fun and even intelligent seeming that reformed baptists but we must not be opposed to reformed baptists must be maintained and if there is any lack of intelligence vs conservative Presbyterians this certainly can be corrected and I am not saying it necessarily is present, discouragement toward them certainly should be absurdly cautious if necessary, there is only one God.

I would say it certainly is right that men and women generally are perpetuating a worldview whether they have any awareness of it or not, we need to try to make that make as much sense as reasonably possible and we need to make an active effort to thoughtfully resist worldview perpetuating that should not even exist to some extent, but idealness is literally not completely possible must be remembered, while we certainly should strive for it, there is only one God.

  21. Knox with the true story about the outrage. Hollywood has competition now, people have rejected them. Even worse they rejected them with a family friendly property in Indiana Jones, which is probably the best answer they have to the faith based model.

  28. Regarding the conversation of Uncle Tom's Cabin and feelings dominating truth…God gave us both emotions and a rational intellect. Both are important. I think we need to have a healthy balance of both. We are to speak the TRUTH in LOVE. (Ephesians 4:15)

  32. You guys know Angel Studios is owned and heavily influenced by Mormons right? Tim Ballard who is the CEO of Operation Underground Railroad and is portrayed in The Sound of Freedom is LDS. The gods they are talking about in their films and that they worship are LDS gods. You know this right? Because if you do know this and aren't at least informing people who is behind these films (The Chosen has LDS influence as well) then all the confronting your show/ministry does with everyone/everything you disagree with has no credibility if you won't warn people about Mormonism's increasing infiltration into the Evangelical entertainment world. I can do without entertainment if it's influenced by people who are misrepresenting the One true God of the bible. Can you? May the Lord gives us discernment and courage in these days of increasing deception. God bless you.
